  • Customer Service

Customer service is only via email and takes one to two days to get a reply. My premier account renewed automatically when Apple took the dollars from my credit card. The app would never upgrade my account to premium. Very disappointed in customer service, sent over a dozen emails and never had the issue resolved.

  • Very Good Customer Service

My early experience with this golf app was not very favorable. However, I found that the customer service folks were helpful, considerate, and most of all patient with a not so tech savvy person, like myself, and after several trial and errors to work out my issues, we seem to be working just fine.
It is important to get the premium package. There are features that I use with my Apple Watch, that only work with this package.

Is not connected on a cell network

  • Wonderful app, but recent Apple Watch issues

If you are thinking at about it, pay for the premium, absolutely worth it.

I love this app, and use it exclusively when I golf. I could go on about all the cool features, but I want to focus on one big issue.

Recently, since the last update, the app won’t close on my watch. No matter what I do I can’t get it to stop. My only option is to uninstall in my watch, which I hate because I love that feature. Please fix soon.

  • Truly the best Golf GPS tracking app out there

I've been using this up for a few years now. In the meantime I've tried every app out there. I'm the kind of guy that is always looking to what is you and exciting. I tried a couple rounds with each new app and I have to say this is the best one.

When it comes to app layout I'd say it's similar to others but it's the smaller things that set this apart from the others. Something as simple as going back and changing an old shot. It's location, club, conditions etc. Its so easy and it's just all right there.

The only set back I have is that I'd like to see some new additions to the app. The app it's self isn't flashy. It could use some interface updates just to modernize it a little bit. It hasn't changed in a long time, but by no means is this a knock on the app. One thing I like that this doesn't have is an achievement page where you get little tokens for different achievements. Eagle, ace, 50% GIR, etc.some other apps give tickets for longest drive so far or four pars or birdie in a row, GIR or putts under a certain number, etc. It is something that golfers like to see. We like to see our progress throughout the years and it adds a new element of fun.

Honestly I'd love to speak to the company to tell them what they need because they are right there from truly setting themselves apart from the other apps and just need a few tweaks to be far and above the others.

As I said before this is the best app I've tried and I would recommend this to everyone. I feel like some interface updates are down the road. Even if not, the price and features can't be beat. Give it a try, it won't disappoint.

  • Progressively Worse by the day

It started out great and was all down hill from there. I had a defective tag but found a work around because I got no feedback from customer service. Then I noticed it I could not add stokes and save it. Every time I saved it was like I did nothing. Then I recently cannot add a quick score to a hole. It won’t save it. Now I am losing rounds because of the glitch. I keep reaching out to customer service but now no one is responding.

I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone as it is completely unreliable and customer service is completely unresponsive.

  • Easy to use and accurate

I’ve been a paid subscriber to this app for a few years now. It’s been performing great anywhere that I have used it except this season at my home course, Hendricks Field Golf Course in Belleville, NJ. The entire course was redone in the winter of 2022 with a bunch of new bunkers added and changed holes all over the place. I’m hoping the app is updated soon. Once it’s updated I’ll give it an updated 5 star review.

  • Crashes

Last update when looking at playing history, the app crashes to the Home Screen when you press a round to look at it in more detail.
  • Love it

I’ve had GP for 2 years. I love the map function and also the interface with my phone and watch. Being able to see the fairway and obstruction distance has allowed me layup shot knowledge that has helped my scoring go down.
I had questions regarding functionality and customer service was on it and helped me within a reasonable time via email. They are very knowledgeable and good to work with.
IMO don’t waste your time with any other app. Go for GolfPad first, you won’t be disappointed.
PS: learning the intricacies of the app functions is not very difficult. Just take your time off the course to do it.

  • My personal caddie and coach

I have tried most of the golf scoring gps apps and, for me, GolfPad GPS is far and away the best. Combined with the Link and AppleWatch I have all the distance information I need on the course. I also have all the shot information for post round reviews and statistical analysis, club by club. Love it.

Works very well with AppleWatch and the Tags complete the solution.

Very happy customer for over 5 years now. Oh and great responsive support too when I did have some issues early on.
