An excellent app

Great system which makes reading magazines a pleasure on mobile and tablet, especially

Great app

I’ve been using this app for quite a few years now and love it.

Probably the best online magazine/newspaper app

Mostly this app works brilliantly on my iPad, I wish occasionally it would work as well on my desktop because of my very big screen. I agree with the post about the bookmarks but they seem to work when I can find them, the small thumbnails (on the iPad) can make finding a remembered article difficult to find. One irritation, sometimes I can go back and pick up where I left something I was reading and sometimes it takes me back to the home page!
All said, apart from a PDF, it is the best way I have found to read newspapers and magazines and a lot less paper to keep and eventually recycle!

AS

A senior writes:

How I love my British EDition COuntry Living magazine! I can enjoy on my IPad Pro and when I read I can adjust the size of text as I need. The photos are positively luminous and I no longer have piles of magazines lying around!
Thank you!

The best

I love all the titles, have a few subscriptions I look forward too every month.,

Great App with one minor problem.

Have been using the Pocket Mags App for a good number of years to download Ships Monthly Magazine, I purchased the App through the Apple App Store however on the last two or three times when it has come time yo renew the subscription which I pay to Apple Pocketmags does not renew the subscription and I have to contact them direct.
A somewhat annoying bug.

Where is my magazine?

Extremely clunky and lagging.
I was offered a free issue of a magazine. I chose one. This appears to have wiped out the magazine that I actually purchased. It isn’t showing at all now.
Way too frustrating. Keep my $10. I’m done

Pretty Good!

Has most of the mags I want!

The app needs work

OK, so parts of the app’s features are fine but it definitely needs some tweaking. For example, when in page view mode I can’t turn 1 page at a time by swiping regardless of whether my iPad is in landscape or portrait mode. That means I have to rely on viewing 2 pages at a time in landscape mode and then enlarging the second page of the article with my fingers in order to make the size reasonable for reading.

Also, getting to the home menu after reading an article is awkward and the help section is worthless. Otherwise, it’s OK. Just OK.

Pocket Mags fan

I thought I would dislike reading magazines online; however, I really enjoy it. Not having to store a hard copy which takes up room. Pocket mags offers a great selection of magazines. I have not had any problems with the application. Excellent service.
