Leave a Review Military 24/7 for iPhone
What is the Point?
As a service member in the MOS that this app matters most to (CommStrat), I’m incredibly disappointed. Having to log on to a website through a browser in order to look up specific shoots you’ve been on or things you’re interested in can be a hassle, so when I found this app I thought I was going to be saved. That has NOT been the case. When I open the app I’m basically shown whatever they want me to see. I can’t search anything, and I have no control over what information I see apart from which service branch. Incredibly disappointing. I won’t be recommending this app to anybody in the foreseen future.Show lessUseless
This is terrible. Much like the website, the search function is mostly worthless and it’s a pain to use. I hoped this would be an easier way to download content. But there is NO way to download content onto your phone. This is content the public owns, too. You can only share links. And the links are terrible for the viewer. I wish I could give it zero stars. Military units are being misled that their content is getting used when they upload to DVIDS.Show lessZero usability
Think of this app like a shared storage folder that pics and vids get thrown into. You don't need an account of any kind to access stuff. There is no naming convention, or intuitive usability of any kind. You only have the ability to sort "content" by service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, etc.) and then the user has zero control of anything after this. No search. No identity. No content of worth.
I clicked on a link for a Change of Command, and it opened up a web browser where I could access the "live stream" event. The option was available to open it in the app, so I tried it... Nothing. Just went to the blank splash page and continued to be worthless.Show less
