Brainwaves was recommended to me by my therapist and it has been the only mental health app that has stayed on my phone for a period longer than a year it’s a pretty good app and has a lot of helpful sounds and stories. Overall a winner of an app.

Advertised as free but not actually
On Huberman podcast this app is advertised as free but there is not a minute even free. Cannot do anything without buying subscription.

Five star rating bribe
From what I can tell, the app does seem to work. I haven’t used it enough to really feel the effects, but just from the brief times I tuned into a few of the different sound packages I would like to think that I did feel relaxed during the relaxation frequency. That being said, I do find it a little sus that in order to get a 15 day free trial you have to give a five star rating. To me that is falsified ratings your offering your services for 15 days free just to get a rating that isn’t exactly true. It only benefits your app and your company which I understand from your perspective but from a users perspective it’s going to give false narratives and false reviews due to this fact.
