Easy fix for a very frustrating problem
I could not get my 1500 google contacts to show up on my iPhone. I followed the directions on both the google and Apple websites, and even spent an hour on the phone with Apple tech support, all to no avail. This is an obvious, glaring problem that the “geniuses” at google and Apple need to solve. In the meantime this app works like a charm. It synced my gmail apps to my iPhone without a hitch and very quickly. Maybe the best $5 I ever spent. Kudos to the developer!!Show lessJim Heard
Worse than bad
I've had this product for about two years. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars two years ago. However, since loading it on my new iPhone it has been worse than bad. This product has actually cost me to lose opportunities because it randomly deletes contacts. People or business numbers you've had in your contact list for years will all of the sudden disappear from your contacts. Text history that goes back to the dawn of time will suddenly appear as simply a number without a name or contact info associated.
Lest you think your troubles end their, going back to iPhone or Google contacts will result in numerous orphaned contacts. It's a nightmare. I'm not sure where things went so awry but my advice is to steer week clear.Show lesstbezilla

I’ve been using Contacts Sync for so many years I don’t remember when I started. But I do remember what a mess it was before Contacts Sync to keep my Apple Contacts in sync with my Gmail account. Not to mention it was impossible to sync and use Google Contacts Groups with Apple Mail.
The other very important benefit to using a truly necessary utility is having access to the developer when a problem occurs or you fail to understand something the app is doing…or not doing. This app’s developer is very transparent, and in all these years whenever I had a question he was always there for me. I just realized this weekend how important that was when I had a small issue of forgetting how to do something and emailed him late Friday evening. I expected a reply on Monday, which would have been just fine, but he replied in only a few minutes. How many developers do this? I’m guessing not many.
Whenever I get a new iPhone, this is one of the first apps I install…I couldn’t live without it. I sincerely appreciate the developer’s commitment to keeping it updated and providing users with one of the most useful apps in the App Store.Show lessLarry.McJ
Please Sync Formats of Contacts
Please respect the formats of both Google Contacts and Apple iOS-based Contacts. I do not appreciate having to go into my Apple iOS Contacts and have to clean up the mess that Google Contacts Sync makes from imposing Google’s changes to last name and Company, for example. I debate each time I use Google Sync whether it would just be easier for me to change the info I wanted updated, changed or added in both places manually. I flip a coin and am usually happier with manually updating. But, then Google updates the app and I try again. Probably getting to the end of that approach and will just manually make changes in both places and Alize that Google and Apple are unwilling to put down their swords in favor of pleasing their customers. Apple iOS's built-in Google contact sync proved to be surprisingly bad. A contact deleted or merged on Google would soon reappear because iOS sync'ed incorrectly.
These issues went away when I replaced it with Contact Sync. I've used it for several months without a glitch. It shows what it'll copy in each direction before changing my contact data, which I appreciate.

Easy to use and saves lots of time. I have all my contacts in my multiple Google email accounts specially the email addresses with their names to compose emails easily and look professional. I have an important request. I have multiple Google email accounts and I’d like to set up all of them on your app to have all new contacts synced automatically at once in the background and in the Standard/Auto modes without manually signing out from an account and then signing in another. Also in the event of duplicates, would you please add a tab to show possible duplicated contacts split between different Google email accounts separately with the ability to edit the merges or create separate contacts when needed? I had a bit of trouble at first but used the help function within the app. They responded within just an hour or two with an easy step that got it working! If you want your iPhone and Google contacts to be synced... this app is great! At the time of writing this, it requires a $3.99 annual subscription if you have a lot of contacts (I can’t remember the cutoff).Show lessBrett in Colorado Springs
Makes iCloud/Google Contacts what it should be!
Haven't you ever wished that online address books would just work, instead of being a hodge-podge of hacked standards that integrate disastrously with each other? This app grants your wish! I love it got keeping my Gmail account and iPhone directory perfectly sync'ed. What more, I can now make good use of contact groups, which I had never found intuitive on the iPhone. When I wanted to upgraded my iPhone, Verizon could not convert my phone book and I would have to retype the data. This was a show stopper for me.
I searched for a program and found this program. I was able to convert my iPhone contact list to google.
Then with my new iPhone, I moved my file from google back to my new iPhone.
I use yahoo for my email. I use google as a backup email. With this app, I also continue to use google as a backup contact file.Show lessArt-1186
Worked Great!
I recently switched to an iPhone but was having trouble getting all of my contacts to port over, especially because I have 3 gmail addresses that I use for different things that each have their own set of contacts. This app worked great for me but I did have to upgrade to the subscription. I was able to log in and out of my various gmail accounts syncing everything to my iCloud. Then I was able to sync my iCloud with my main gmail to make sure I had an additional backup of all of my contacts. Really happy about how easy it was.Show lessYibe22
