Awesome App
now that i have spoken to the Gods of the Lyric book app ,( thank you Ian, was very quick with the help) and can now resume my PDF scrolling
this app makes lyric reading a dream .
when the lights are low no problems all can be seen
when set lists get changed by one of the Musicians (never the singer) a new one can be made or the old edited so easily .
with the addition of notes there is no need to take my laptop to rehearsal as i can just drop any notes of the song down and alter the lyric later
there is one thing they could maybe add :) which would be a tap tempo button, so we can remind the drummers of the correct tempo ..
Seriously this app has made the lyric reading on stage or rehearsal a total breeze.
If you still use paper lyrics STOP! get this app you will not be disappointed

Great app! A must have for all muso's!
Would be good if you were able to edit lyrics in the app or create new songs so you can copy and paste at gig!

Great app
Easy to use and exactly what I'd been looking for. I'd been using Dropbox for my lyric .doc files, but was forced to take my big 3-ring binder to any gigs where wi-fi wasn't available - most of our outdoor summer gigs. Problem solved. Love the app - and the ability to create setlists is a nice little bonus!

Exceptional
The best App I own. No documentation or instructions, but once you solve the puzzle, you'll love this. As a performing singer/guitarist, this is just what I've been looking for. Not obvious, but once you figure it out, it's easy to create multiple song lyric sequences, which you can then re-order at will and on the spot. You can later edit the lyric group (called list, but it's actually all the lyrics in the sequence you set up.) I use this with an iPad holder attached to my mic stand. Less cumbersome than a book, and much easier to see- also easy to create a customized "set" , even on a break. To figure out how to use it, you have to fiddle with the 2 or 3 icons until you see "edit." then you can add/delete songs, change the name of the "set", and re-order the sequence of lyrics within the set. Scrolling up or down (with your "pinky" gets the the various pages of the song, left or right goes to another song within the set.
I used to use a PDF of my 200+ songs saved to the book app. This is MUCH better because it allows me to create subsets of my lyrics, and even re-order on the spot (ex: all country songs, with Denver 1st, then Taylor, etc.

Fantastic app!!
What I've needed for ages. This takes the place of multiple loose leaf
notebooks. Takes the place of rearranging song sheets in set lists then re alphabetizing etc.
Loading songs is easy if you follow the directions.
Only problem I had was using unrecognized PDF format instead of pdf. The developer was very prompt and helpful in figuring this out.

My Lyric Book
Simple, easy to manage. I moved 300 lyric sheets in to the app in under 20 minutes. If you can't figure out how to share files between an rtf and an iPod or iPad it's best you just move away to Alaske and live off the land.
Simple, yet powerful and useful
I use this app for performing at small gigs when I am singing and playing my guitar. My band has a regular singer so I only use for my own gigs and for the life of me cannot memorize lyrics. My iPad is mounted with iKilp and I have backing tracks assigned to each lyric. Beats the heck out of shuffling through sheets of paper. SImply create the document in Word or Pages and just add it through iTunes. Brilliant idea…love it.

The greatest thing!!!
This app is awesome! No longer need my book and so easy and fast once you get the hang of it! I was having issue with it fading out but I found out how to correct that issue on my iPad ! I would highly recommend this to anyone musician/ singer that uses charts and lyrics!
Great App
This is a great app, does exactly what you want it to, showing the lyrics I have created and more. The designer has been great with suggestions usually incorporating them into the next update. Definitely one to get involved with and help extend.

Can we get the swipe to work left-to-right as well? Occasionally I knock the iPad and advance to the next lyrics without meaning to but can't simply swipe back.
