No phonetic readers?
Crashy. But beyond that, what happened to including phonetically decodable text for early readers? The 0 books are merely based on repetition, while the level 1's are full paragraphs with complex words. Somewhere in between, I would have expected some, "Dog and cat play ball on a mat," since this is specifically targeting early reading. If the kids can't read the words, this becomes just another video.

Great tool for kids and parents
My son loves this app and he uses it on his own, we're having a difficulty with reading but he gets really excited for this app, the books are great and I love getting the emails with the recordings of his readings for the day. Nothing is sweeter than hearing your child read!

Works great! High Quality Books only .99
My daughter loves the selection of animal books for reader level 1. It is wonderful that she can tap on individual words when she gets stuck. She is 7, and struggling a bit with reading. Booksy is great, and for the features and quality (nice pictures, good reading), .99 a book is a real deal.
Works again. Yay.
I just updated, and it works again. I'm actually excited. My 6yo son loves reading with this.

New book purchases do not load
This would be a great app, if the additional books for purchase would work. I have been charged for two books I purchased for download but that will not load - when I opt to reinstall previous purchases, the app shuts down immediately. Very disappointed. My son really enjoyed the free intro book.
Run once and never again :(
App starts and then runs no problem until I select a book, then it minimizes to the background and then after that it won't load. It's not worth the cost....even though it is free. Please fix it. I can't even rate whether the app works very well.

Installed it, it started ok. Looks like you have to buy the books. As soon as I got to the search section, it kicked out of the program. Kept kicking out on start up thereafter.

Beware of downloading additional books.
My daughter loved the free Hello Bunny book, so I tried to download two more books at her reading level. They don't show up on my bookshelf, even though I've been charged for them through iTunes. App crashes every time I try to "reinstall" the purchased books, so now we are stuck with only Hello Bunny. No response to my email for help. It would be very cool app...if it would work.

Can't open this app
Installed this app and used it once, now it won't open at all, even after resetting my iPad and downloading the update that was meant to fix the problem. Not happy :( wont be trying to use this app again
