  • Trip

This is a pure nostalgia trip back to a slightly more simple era when ideas were king, and gaming didn't attract the kind of vultures Mobigame had to deal with to get their work out.

...except this time with a bit of anti-aliasing wrinkle cream, because those old classics don't all look as good as our minds' eye envisions them. They was beauties, they still are...as is this.

  • One of the Best

Anyone can tell you this is an incredibly fun, original, interesting, and challenging game, but on top of that, it's extremely well made. Menus are fast and clean. Pausing is easy. Alternative controls are offered, each good in their own way. Game data is saved over multiple devices. Sound options can be adjusted through the in game menu. iPod music can be played during the game. On my iPhone 4 the game starts up in literally less than 2 seconds. Great icon too.

This game should be a model for all iOS apps. Buy it at least to support it to raise the standard of apps available for your phone, iPod, or iPad.

  • Smart fun

EDGE is one of the more unique titles on the app store, a neat blend of action and puzzles, often based on perspective tricks, it's great fun figuring the later levels out. And yes, the music is great. Wish there was more of it. Also, I love dark cube. He's devious.
  • Edge over all other games

Edge was my favourite game on iPhone as it is unique and there was nothing like it out there for the iPhone, now edge extended has come along and kept me addicted with the old school gaming tunes and the simplicity yet intelligence the game has

However don't listen to what I have to say, buy and make your own mind I can honestly say you will not regret it.

    Peace.

  • Just... amazing.

I really wish Edge would get more attention. The first was severely underrated, and sadly due to poor exposure many missed out on it. Well, for all those who never got around to playing the original, here's your chance; and it's even better. That said, the differences are marginal, but it's still noticeable. Edge is intuitive platforming at its finest- I strongly recommend any iOS gamer to pick this one up. Once you get around the learning curve this game is hard to put down.

  • Ghosts are the best

After I beat the game on one try I felt no reason to keep playing and improve my scores, till I realized that there is ghosts of your old best times on each level. That made the replay value so much better, it's so much fun trying to beat your old times as u race against your ghost, each time geting more chalenging. Also it's fun watching your friends fail to keep up with your ghosts. So yea the ghosts are my favorite addition.

Btw to those who complain against controls, like I sed in the first one switch the controls to the buttons and give it some time and you'll be getting S and S+ in no time

  • Great game

The first one was awesome, this one is even better. Well done guys!
  • Even better than I could have hoped!

Purchased the original a couple of years ago and loved it so much. This game has so many subtle updates that it feels almost like a whole new game. Playing on the iPhone 4, the frame rate is much higher, the retina display is supported way better, the controls have a more responsive feel and overall, the game feels faster.

One of my favorite things is the camera zoom perspective that gives it move and look better. For 99¢ with the ability to play it on iPad, how can you pass it up?

  • Amazing

This game provides wonderful puzzles and levels which are in my opinion very influenced by M.C. Escher, the manner in which they manipulate lighting and dimension to create a false sense of security when moving around the level. This game is a universal game by which I mean that anyone can pick it up and play without difficulty I have downloaded over 1000 apps and this is one of the very few that I have rated and furthermore that I have graded with such a good score so to all you on the edge [pun intended] about this app I say use your money wisely and buy it

  • It's good but...

It's a curious game; the whole concept seems to rely on being difficult to control rather taxing your brain.

There are a few examples of frustrating level design where you may die because of a quirk of the level rather than doing something wrong.

Having said all that, it's undeniably a good game, slick, good looking - just a little masochistic; maybe that's the point.
