  • Brilliant!

I got the demo version of this game on the computer, and it encouraged me to buy this on the app store! The only problem is that there are only 44 levels, but the money is well worth it!!!!!
  • More of the best

Edge, and now Edge Extended, is easily one of the most polished, fiercely original games for iOS. Like the first edition, Edge Extended is amazing, surprising, infuriating, and at times feels impossible (yet isn't). Be warned that this game does require pretty proficient eye-hand coordination and expect that a few of the levels will probably give you fits to the point of rage. My observation is that putting the game down and trying again a little later is usually all it takes to get past the seemingly impossible. (I have completed this game and I'm in my forties, so it can't be too trying.)

  • LOVES

I first bought this on my cellphone and it was stunning, so it was a no-brainer to get it on my iPod! There are plenty of levels ranging from easy to so incredibly hard I cannot describe it. Great music and incredible graphics, over all, buy buy BUY! :3
  • Needs work on error-correction

I loved the original Edge, and sadly so far the first 20 levels aren't terribly different from the original. A bit of a let-down.

Also, the first game was quite a bit more forgiving with the "grab an edge and flip upward while you're being pushed off." On level 22, the error handling for mid-transition movements is so bad, you'll invariably land 2/3 on a platform, which completely disallows you from moving where you should be allowed to move. Also, in this new game, you can't even flip sideways on a moving platform without getting knocked off…by what, the wind?!

  • Tricky but unique and fun

The controls take a bit of getting used to but once you get used to them, the game is brilliant with clever designs, solid presentation and fun gameplay is worth the full price.
  • Innovative and addictive

Such an amazing game, fun to play and not too hard but not too easy either, managed to get right through to the last level! I hope I can get through it!
  • Way too touchy

Good concept, challenging to figure out the levels, but the control is terrible in my opinion. Frustration abounds in this game. A great puzzle game should make you want to play it non-stop until you've conquered it. Bought it because I love a good puzzle game, and the reviews sold me, but...the desire vanished quickly due to the twitchy controls (and I tried them all). I'm done playing this game after a very short time, and I'm going to ask the developer for a refund, but doubt I'll get one.
The puzzle mode of Collision Effect is infinitely better, played it for three full days on vacation, couldn't put it down 'til I beat it.

  • Good looking, but that's it

It's undeniably a good looking game, well designed and thoroughly thought, yet I found it a bit plain and repetitive after the first five or six levels. As someone said before me, it relies on mastering the controls rather than being smart or requiring any puzzle solving skills.
Overall, an interesting game and concept, but I ultimately found it boring and disappointing.

  • Great game!

I actually really like this game. It is definitely harder but with few new mechanics(buy that is ok). I loved the original and I love this one, though some of the levels are extremely hard with less display of creativeness as some of the previous levels, e.g. Speed run which was won of my favorites.

  • Fantastic Suedo-Sequel, To The Ultra Addicting 1st Title.

My first experience with Edge dates back to it's initial iterations very 1st release. I remember it well, I had downloaded it about 8pm and thought to give it a whirl, before I knew it, my alarm clock was ringing for me to get up and go to work the next day. I thought this was utterly impossible for such a deviously simple cube traversal game but never the less, I had lost ALL TRACK OF TIME. I don't think their is a higher praise for a game when you can invest so little and completely loose yourself to it. The same holds true for this almost sequel and it's new vertigo inducing quasi-3D-eat-your-heart-out-3DS visuals and shiney fast 3D rendered engine. Plus new tracks while not quite as memorable as the original, are welcome and this game is a Retina Display crowd pleaser on iPhone 4. A must buy for any thinking man, that has a fetish for cube-tacular puzzles.
