Great Study Resource for Oral Exam
Since using Ride Ready to prepare for the Instrument practical, I naturally turned to Dauntless to prepare for the Commercial. The scenario based explanations go further than my one-on-one instructor sessions and reinforce my weak areas. This is a tremendous boost to my confidence level. I believe the major benefit lies in the specific references and graphics that accompany each explanation to solidify the information and make it stick!

Great study app
I have tried to use other applications to help me study for various FAA tests but they would have outdated questions or it would only be a final test and not help with the preparation of the test. I believe that the work that was put into this app but all the other apps that they have made is extremely well thought out and done in a fashion that makes it easy for the user to customize what they need to study for and what they are having trouble remember for the test. They also have amazing customer support for any questions that you have or any problems you have with the app. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to study for an FAA test and be able to study anywhere at anytime.

Commercial Oral Ride Ready
I have been flying for 26 years; studying is a way of life. The subject explanations, topic links, and always having study material accessible are worthy every penny...if not more (don't tell Dauntless I said that).

The examiner was very thorough for my Oral but this app, especially in conjunction with the ground school app or Bundle will definitely help prepare you well. A+
Not a good review program.
The reason I downloaded this app was because I have used this app for the instrument checkride prep and it worked fantastic. For Commercial, however, is not good at all. The contest is not up to par and doesn't cover a lot of stuff that was asked during my exam. If you want a great prep for the checkride, I'd recommend the book "Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot"

App constantly crashes
App crashes whenever it goes into background and now will not run at all. Don't waste your money.
Great study tool
This app is really a great study and learning tool. The plentiful questions have been great in my preparations. I find the explanations and illustrations (some even animated!) to be a very valuable learning tool. It really helps me to visualize what I am learning.
Worth every penny!
Amendment:
The material in this is worth every penny. The execution of the app is not. I have an iPad mini w/ retina and the database is forever crashing. Support blames my iPad for it and says Apple vets every app to ensure operability but clearly Apple allows junk through...I mean look at IOS 8. They don't even thoroughly test their own software much less the myriad of vendor apps. I was disappointed in the cop-out answer that it's my problem. This is the ONLY app that I have problems with so its not my iPad. It's poor execution of the database.

Great Training Aid!!
I used the Dauntless Aviation IFR Airplane app for my instrument rating. I truly believe I was able to go into the oral exam with a more positive attitude and was able to answer the examiners questions confidently and accurately due to my study of the information on that app. I am currently using this Commercial airplane app for my Commercial Training and am having the same results. This app rocks. They not only help you to zero in on weak subjects but present them in a way that is easy to remember, understand and put into practical use. I highly recommend this app. I'm looking forward to impressing my examiner once again at my upcoming commercial check ride. Keep up the good work Dauntless!
