This game is very good.
A few improvements could be:
Create your own levels
Verses mode on all levels possible
Buy in game upgrades with money that is eared by jumping. Etc extra jet packs in levels, 1000 doodle money.
In game character upgrades

Consider giving us a couple of lives....having to keep starting over makes me give up after a while. Maybe give 3 lives so we can advance and keep interested.Lsquared19

One of the first games I bought on my iPad. However one improvement is that the squares on the paper don't go down, instead they stick in the same position you are in...
Of course it isn't major but it's there to be improved on.
If you're deciding whether to get the app then do, due to its HD title it's 2 pounds but yet again don't be put off! Well worth it...!Show lessNewtus

Great and addicting game i also like the fact that there are so many themes and i never get bored of them. Maybe you could add a valentines day theme in your next update,it would be great. Thank you Lima Sky for creating this addicting and beautiful game. And 1.99 is not a bad price considering you get so many themes and stunning HD graphics. Doodle jump is the best! Better than the IPod touch version! It is very addictive. You can play against other people around the world. The only thing I didn't like is you can't play against iPod users only other iPads, but still get the app. It is definitely worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!iPad lover!!!!!
Poor version..
If someone has this on their phone and is tempted to buy don't bother. The dimensions of the iPad screen are different to an iPhone, and instead of changing the levels to suit the iPad, the old levels have been plonked in, leaving a bar on either side with no jumping blocks: check it out on you tube.
The result is that jumping thought the screen becomes much harder, especially when avoiding black holes. It's also very difficult to shoot directionally due to the size of the screen.
If you don't have it on your phone, then perhaps it is a good app, but for me, it's an iPhone app which has lazily been grafted onto the iPad.Show less1Glynafon
Better suited for smaller devices
First off, I love Doodle Jump on my iPhone. I play it all the time.
However, this game it different, in a bad way, on the iPad. First thing I noticed, the game is much more difficult to hold properly in one hand and move the character around. On the iPhone, it fits easy and you can tilt with no trouble. The iPad is just too big and heavy for this.
Second are the large borders. On the iPhone, the platforms go all the way across the screen. There is no margin which the platforms do not occupy. In the iPad version, there is about a one inch margin on both sides that are empty and too easy to fall through.Show less350mck
Simply, amazing!
This app is just great. There are regular updates with new themes which is always good. I've had the iPhone app for a while and the iPad app is just even better! I would definitely recommend, you can never get bored of this game...MagicMovieReviews

This game is amazing and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone. It is addictive and fun and will Keep you entertained for hours . Although I have to admit it is fairly expensive compared to the original on iPod and iPhone. Good game
I love the new maps but I wish they had edited the moving platforms a little better so that they made it across the entire screen. The price itself is also a little steep so I would only buy it if you find yourself playing the original version of doodle jump a lot
