It’s as simple or technical as you want. Does everything it needs to. It never crashes.

Needs to be updated

This up needs to be updated to have versatility for today. One example is the ability to click links that come in messages. Or the ability to reply to them with a Y or N .

Ok when it works.

I have an M6 Wifi Puck and it works great the app not so much. It is clunky, fails to log in most the time and when it does decide to work saving changes to my settings or device configuration is impossible until it decides to work.

When it does decide to work it provides good information and tools. Would be great if there were widgets implemented that show battery,data usage,signal strength etc. But as it stands thats probably to much to ask of this software. Worse part is there are device features you cant use or change unless through the app or the webUi. Which at that point just dont even use the app.

Now not compatible

Model – MR2100
I just came back from a four week holiday and turned all my devices back on.
When I open the app to connect to my router, the app says.” incorrect, Wi-Fi mobile router”
“ Sorry this mobile router is not supported by the netgear mobile app”
I’ve been using this app to connect with my router for several months. Now I can’t for some reason.

Will not connect to iPhone!

After purchasing this expensive router we have found it near impossible to connect it to our iPhones! When I say connect, I mean so I can access its features. All I get is “cannot connect to this router” very very annoying……

Not great

App design and layout is good but the app itself is very unstable. Locks up or crashes. Not a fan of netgear, not very customer centric, as you can see app not been updated in over 2 years.

It’s ok but…

The ui is fairly good for a mobile hotspot/router However the stability of the app is awful!
I get locked out of the app where I cannot login via credentials and only way to fix is to uninstall and reinstall the app again, Also shame that the interface doesn’t include port forwarding. Definitely needs adding!!
Priority stability of app kicking out and not able to log back in until uninstalled and reinstalled
My device being used is an iPhone 13pro if this helps at all.

Cannot sign in

I cannot sign into app. After repeated time and calling help desk who not only didn’t fix problem went on to try and sell me network protection starting at nearly $500. Still no joy.

Not very impressed but its alright i guess

Not veryi am a voice over / screen reader user and its a pain navigating through this app there is actually no option to select back to a previous page , have to close the app and restart it then select the option i want to go. I am blind and my wife says there is a little tiny button in the top somewhere that brings you back to the previous page, sure ok she can see it but the voice over doesnt detect it. This app can use some improvements , thanks for reading i am happy tho with my router it seems to work ok wish i had more control over it with the app

Good for basic information and quick setup, but not as friendly to set up a complex network

This app is fast and simple, but for myself, trying to do some advanced setting and convert my previous nighthawk AX120 into a bridge/AP and make my newer AXE500 the new network hub. It’s difficult to even get to the online router login page to make these changes, but since that’s not supported very well, it eventually kicks you out of the router admin settings and sends you to netgears home page. It’s very frustrating trying to get this system setup and having to go back. And forth in the online portal that you can’t get back into instead of having this in the APP like previous generations and other products. I expected more from netgear, especially if I had know this , I may have tried to buy into another system/network .
