The calendar, search texts, and notes function..
Are incredible! The shared calendar lets you set any kind of event or reminder, who it affects, let’s you set alerts for both you and your partner so you never forget what they needed that day (be it words of encouragement or your help with something). It also exports the shared calendar in app to your own phone, which is sick.
You can search your texts if you use it for texting instead of scrolling endlessly. Also, the notes function is pretty cool, you can post things like grocery lists or whatever and then both of you can access it.

It’s a nice app
I can’t say why is it dif from just normal messages but we use it. Recently not as much though because between opens slower than messages especially if there is an update involved.
Very private
I think the app is amazing for couples who want privacy. You can create your own passcode and even make your own special dates and photo albums that have its own notification separate from your phone. The emojis and stickers are cute and I would highly recommend the app for people that are dating!
GIF support, please!
It’s been a few years, and Between has improved SO MUCH with all the updates. I’m subscribed to Between Plus for a year, and I appreciated the extra perks, especially the ability to send high quality videos and photos and longer videos. I’m obsessed with the stickers, and I’m guilty of purchasing more than I should have.
The ONLY thing I’m requesting is the ability to send gifs instead of just sending the link similar how it’s done on iMessage, for example. It’d be awesome to see the gifs play as messages.
Thank you to the developers for listening to users and for creating a unique and super cute messaging app for couples. I’ve tried others, and this is definitely the best one.

The update is perfect!
I’ve been using between for three years now with my loving other and we absolutely love the app but over the years, I’ve had a few gripes about what could be better. Now with the home screen no longer sliding right to change the home screen photo, the overall app feels much cleaner. The sticker suggestion categories is amazing as someone with way too many stickers to go through. The new gif feature is so cute! I love the frames. My only criticism is that I wish they would bring back the between character frames for the homepage photos. They’ve gone through so many different frames with just the animated ones in the newest update however I think the merryxmilk and all the other unique between characters really adds a special touch to the photos.

Cute and good for LDR
The guy I'm seeing and I got this app recently, mostly because there was wifi he could use on his plane out of town. He's currently in Basic Training with the army, so he can't use his phone at all, but it's a good place to keep everything together. I have all of our pictures together on that app, and it's nice knowing what the weather is like over there, to know what he might be experiencing.
The app itself is cute, but I don't see a way to disable the day counter (we're not official, so it's not something I feel comfortable using because we haven't discussed a real start date yet). In all, I like it, and would definitely recommend.
