  • Great app

This is a great app for browsing, viewing and setting recordings remotely. Just be careful not to select something with a $ symbol on the channel as it’s not in your package and will be chargable.
  • Disconnects and slow

You guys are doing a heap of advertising at the moment. Good luck when you start getting more users and complaints and bad reviews. Instead of spending money on ads get your back end in place first. I have a current iphone with updated ios and its constantly asking me to reconnect. Going through the whole pin number set up again. Randomly free to air channels dont appear in the guide and its slow to refresh. Come on. Get serious if you want to be a player.

  • Absolutely love this service... 4yrs on and counting

I can’t recommend enough how good FetchTV has been. I have a mighty and a mini as part of my Optus NBN service and it has been amazing. I am a little disappointed at the loss of some channels, but still overall love the service. Much more useful, cost effective and connected than Foxtel or TelstraTV.

  • Where are the subtitles?

The previous Fetch TV App offered subtitles as an option. Wish the forced upgrade App also has the option.
  • Great Idea. Poorly developed

This works well on the base level. I’m using an iPhone 6 Plus and none of the updated features work. But what’s more annoying is that as soon as you leave to access an app like Stan, Netflix it completely freezes on the main screen. After two minutes the sound come through from the last Fetch channel viewed. This requires unplugging the Fetch Box and restarting the unit.

  • New update much better!

Similar to the app a year ago, much better.

    Thanks.
  • Where did the program guide go???

New app is a massive downgrade. Program guide is gone. New user interface is a less than subtle attempt to pre-position paid content rather than enhance the user's experience.
  • Big step backwards

This was an excellent app. Sadly the latest ver loses 1/2 the good features of the past & adds some glitz
  • What have you done

You have taken an app that at least worked 90% of the time to an app that all of a sudden I can't watch my recordings on my phone or tablet. This was one of my key purchasing reasons for Fetch. You guys need to get on fixing this asap. You are going to have a lot of very upset customers.
  • Needs the TV guide back!

Any decent TV app needs a decent TV guide. The previous version of this app had a perfectly functional guide, that was easy to find. This new version is beyond ridiculous! After 3 days trying I still cannot find a way of seeing at a glance what programs are on now and coming up in the hours ahead.

Choose the section marked "TV" you'd presume? Well maybe if you are satisfied with (after clicking another link called 'see all') a series of tiles with icons showing the channel name and text underneath naming the program currently showing... but with no indication of when it started or finishes. Want to find that out or what is on next, yet another click on that icon. That starts the channel streaming to your device - whether you wanted it to or not. And if you swipe right you finally get a list of all the channels and the time range for programs currently showing. But still not what comes next.

Finally I found a way to view upcoming programs... by selecting the "Control" section instead. On the left you now have the channels listed with the name of the current program and a single time - but only by deduction do you establish this must be the time the show started not the marginally more useful time the show finishes. Still no idea what's on next though!

So eventually you find on the simplified graphic of a remote control to the right a button called TV Guide. Hurrah you think... but don't get carried away. Unlike the guide you get pressing EPG on your real control, this only gives a partial channel list, omitting all the standard free to view channels like 1, 7 etc. And can you see what's on next? Well yes... but only by selecting each channel one at a time!

Extraordinary incompetence in redesigning something that worked really, and replacing it with something totally unintuitive and without such core functionality.

    Stop. This. Madness.
