Pretty good but still needs work
This is my absolute favorite house design games. I love how you are able to go into construction mode while seeing the colors/textures of your walls and items, a feature most other apps lack, but there are still some bugs. For one, I hate the fact that you have to pay to save your projects is really weird; just the fact that you could put hours into your designs only for you to have to clear it all away. I just think that there should be a free trial or the first design you can save for free or smth. Another problem is that you some things can’t be placed while touching another thing. If I try to place a wall but it’s touching another wall then it goes all red and doesn’t place. Or if I’m putting down some land and it’s touching the house it, again, goes red and doesn’t place. Maybe it’s user error and I’m the one messing it up but any time I try to place them it never works so IDK. Again this is an amazing game and I love it but it definitely has some bugs.

there's a bug
I loved using Home Design 3D I love making my own cities in it even though it's not worth meant for I enjoyed it lots but then not that long ago just now I found out that there's a bug in the game and every time I touch a button, it won't do anything. I can't design anything and it won't even let me zoom out and now I've even updated the app and it hasn't worked. I tried waiting patiently and it still kept doing the same thing over and over. and worst of all I'm scared if I delete the app and then download it again. that's already lose all the hard work I've been putting into my cities and it hasn't just been days. It's been at least a couple months. and I'm not kidding this is not nice for me right now if you see my review, please. tell me if you have any idea of what I could do next bye-bye😭😭😭

The thing is…
I have been using Home Design 3D for years. Originally when you updated to the Gold version you would have access to build 2 floors plus an attic. If you wanted to build more floors than that, you would need to purchase the Gold Plus. I updated to the Gold Version and happily started working on my projects. Then HD3D changed the rules, now the Gold Version is one floor plus an attic, which means that my two story homes are no longer editable, unless I update to the Gold Plus version. I understand the financial need to sell products but instead of making people rebuy what you have already sold them, maybe try creating some new content and sell that. Also it means that by buying the gold and then needing to update to the Gold Plus, you will actually be spending more money than if you had just bought the Gold Plus originally, not sure that’s fair either. There are really good things about the app. The community feature is fun to see what everyone else is building. It’s mobile friendly there are lots of things you can do.

Excellent value for money
App is excellent value for money . Easy to use. Has a few minor bugs and not designed to deal with complex layouts but has allowed us to brainstorm and design several house ready for architect to finish. Has saved us a fortune.
Awesome app please add one thing
Love the app, always making and tinkering on it. Awesome for killing time or redesigning a room or even looking at how our house or apartment would look prior to moving in. Please please add the ability to rotate a room. If I want a a stand along room on a block or even a slightly askew room as a sections story I have to manually put in the walls and try adjust for 90 degree wall corners. It’s actually quite difficult. Would love to make a 5x4m room and then be able to rotate it like we can rotate all the items.

Minimum room size too small
I was looking for an app to help me redesign an actual room in our house - the master bedroom - but was not able to create a realistic version of it in the app as the actual room dimensions were considered too small. Would be great if real life room sizes could be accommodated in future (the master bedroom in our house is our biggest bedroom and it is also bigger than both our bathrooms and kitchen so that doesn’t leave many other rooms left to design!) Will uninstall and try a different app.

DON’T GET THIS GAME!!! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD!
OK. So I was just looking at Home Design games on the App Store and I came across this. It looked really good, so I started downloading it. PROBLEM NO. 1: It was taking FOREVER to download. I stared at it downloading for a while, then drank some water, then got dressed and it STILL hasn’t downloaded! So I started reading some of the reviews. Half of them said that this was an amazing game and you should definitely get it, and the other half said that you should NEVER get this game because it is HORRIBLE and utterly AWFUL. I even saw one that said the game tried to steal money from them within minutes… anyways, I saw a few that said you can’t do anything without paying, but I though well you must be able to do something! I WAS WRONG. PROBLEM NO. 2: YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT PAYING! I deleted every single thing, even the tutorial, and I couldn’t create ANYTHING. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS, YOU CANNOT PLAY IF YOU DON’T PAY. Ooh that rhymes…

A tiny problem…..
I love this game so much, but there is a tiny problem. So I have had this game for over a year now and still have not gotten bored with it. To be honest I don't think I ever will. But every time I play this game for more than 10 minutes it starts to lag, and I know it's not my internet bc it hasn't done that before. Also, another bug is that when I make a house it completely freezes and stops working then I have to get off and start all over again. That kind of irritates me a little bit bc I love this game and I play it on long car rides. So when it freezes and deletes my house I get a little mad not furious but just a little agitated. Another thing I think makes people mad is that when you make a beautiful house then you get off and it doesn't save bc you have to pay for it. I think you should at least be able to save like 2-3 houses that you make. Then after you make 3 you have to pay for it. But that's just what I think. Also, I wish that you could get above-ground pools and Kitty pools for free on the outside version. P.S. not trying to make people mad with being a complainer but this is just my thoughts on the game. ☺️Have a blessed day!

ALMOST PERFECT
Very easy to use and master. A great vehicle for bringing ideas in you head onto a page that will allow your friends to walk through your design in 3D with colour and texture. Building spaces in 3D allows you to move through them and understand if they would work in a practical application. One improvement I’d like to see is the ability to draw walls at 45 degree angles easily or even curved walls.

Do not give this developer your hard earned cash
I found previous versions of this app really good, and had upgraded to the gold version, and would have recommended it. However the latest version broke it, stopped me adding layers etc, and wouldn’t let me restore the full features of the gold version, just freezing instead. However the ability to save was still there. I contacted support, they suggested uninstalling/reinstalling and that just made things worse by removing my ability to save, and freezing when trying to restore purchases. “Support” has been useless, you fill in a form and then they ask you for the same information repeatedly, I’ve sent screen shots, proofs of purchase and videos as requested and over a month later the app is still not working, so it is with regret that I have to say that this is not much better than scam. Do not given them your hard earned cash.
