Host

I Don't know the host name or anything

Crashes everytime

I downloaded on iPhone 5. The app crashed everything I try to add a server.

Shame as the virtual PC keyboard looks useful.

Awesome!

Deserves full stars. Slick and beautiful, easy to use, even on iPhone 3GS. No annoying ads.

Useful app. But a little buggy.

I have an ipad 3. I use it to manage my servers remotely on the move. It works well but sometime when you try and connect the app crashes and auto closes. An update to fix this bug would make it 5 stars.

Thanks

Steve

Great App

Great useful application, been using this for a few months now. Just updated to the latest version, however It seems to have a problem with screen rotation and now is no longer useable. Gets stuck in portrate mode on my iPad, however the keyboard no longer fits the screen, nor does the RDP image. Please fix asap.

Rdp port

If I changed the port 3389 to another, it shows the server can't be connected. Other app can do this, and the port was setup on server side. Can this be corrected??? So, maybe give up?

Doesn't work

I have tried this on 4 or 5 different Mac OS X/Mac OS X Server machines running 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8 and it consistently refuses to connect. I don't have any Windows/BSD/Linux machines so have no idea if it works with them but this app is useless to me.

Not bad, but...

Why do certain keys double-repeat (space, backspace to name 2)? Makes it impossible to edit on a Pi running tightvncserver. If this got fixed this would be a great tool.

Love this app, particularly the overlay keyboard

Have tried a few RDP apps, this one particularly I love the way the developer overlays a transparent full keyboard on screen rather than popping up the standard apple one. Means you can still see what's going on as you're typing and you don't need to keep minimising the keyboard. Clearly someone who uses the app is developing it!

Perhaps as others have said be nice to be able to name the connection indepenedent of its connection name.

Best Free RDP in Form

I've tried most of the free RDP apps, this one is my favorite in theory except for the following: when your screen "locks", not only does it disconnect you, but it does a full log off & shuts down all programs. This is a deal breaker, so I'm stuck with the more awkward iRemoteDesktop.

This app has perfect screen ratio (no scrolling) and as everyone says, the transparent keyboard is perfect. The mouse could use some work.

Also, a pet peeve is that there is no explanation of what extra features come with the paid "AV" version ... so no reason for me to buy.
