I don't understand how this app was approved and then released. All functions cannot be used like the web version. The irony is that when using mobile phones and iPads, web pages will force you to use the app version. It's 2021! If you can't do a mobile app, don't do it. Junk software. It never works on my iPhone or iPad regardless of whether I’m using the Canvas App, Safari, or Chrome browser. I cannot get it to load the audio portion of the videos that my teacher creates. The audio only ever works when I access the videos from my PC. I even troubleshooted some things to see if it was the devices but every thing I did still can’t resolve the audio issue. My teacher only embeds the videos into the weekly module on canvas so the only access I have to the voice threads are through canvas. When I click sign in it redirected me to the VoiceThread app but left the lecture on canvas, still unable to play audio. Either fix this app and make it more user friendly or stop recommending it to professors for lecture use. I’d rather have a PowerPoint with audio recording over it. 🙃Show lessAPerilousJourney

This App is Trash
Unsure why people develop these apps needed for education and dont fix the bugs? This is my second time having to use this VOICETHREAD for my MBA program. Last semester i had a project due using voice thread, the user interface is trash. It would not recognize my institutions login. Was unable to do my project. Now im in a finance class and i would like not to sit at my desk for hours. I should be able to use my cell phone. I can use the mobile app you just cant hear the teacher talk. So i see its many problems that need to be fixed asap especially if this is used for EducationShow lessEst.1986

Where’s My Video?
Only downloaded this dumpster fire of an app because it was arbitrarily required to submit homework for college. The teacher gave me a zero because she did not see my submission. I DID in fact submit a video, and after restarting the app a few times myself I was finally able to locate the video, right where I had been looking. There is another mysterious video in the feed that has my name on it, no picture, and another student’s audio. We never collaborated so what is that about? I’d call this app garbage, but at least banana peels and used coffee filters can be composted into something useful.Show lessFitfirecracker
Stupid information assignment tab
This app is stupid all in all. So many complications to get it to work on computer vs mac book vs ipad. This new feature of assignment due tab that wont go away on my screen….. has made may studying extremely inefficient. I like to multitask usually with a split screen, with this new assignment tab….. you can’t get rid of it and it take up the whole split screen so you cant actually see the VoiceThread video. So at the end of it all, I can’t take my notes on the same computer…. I have to get another electronic device… which also had issues playing the video to even see the slides. What a stupid app. I have tried my best to be open minded, but i hate this app. Wish my professors found something more efficient.Show lessCindyheartly
I want my friend back
My friend Peggy and I are in the same English class. We were forced to use this app for our final project. She has spent weeks trying to figure out how to use this app and literally locked herself in her room to work on it because it is so hard. Since she started trying to use this app, she has been distant, unhappy, frustrated and upset. I completely understand her frustration with this disgusting excuse of an app. So disappointed in it! In all my years, I have never before seen an app destroy someone’s life. But this app has done that. It’s horrible. Please take this app down. I JUST

Worst app in existence, teachers stay away!
I only have this installed for a college art class. If you’re looking for an app that will constantly crash on you and delete any & all edits to a photo after uploading, than this is the app for you. Don’t you just love buttons so small you’ll constantly tap the wrong one well look no further! Any photo rearrange or edits to your photos will result in a crash! Don’t be apart of more than one group or else you’ll see every portfolio but yours unless you filter the groups but just remember any filtering will lead to the app crashing. There are no updates to fix these issues, ever! Have fun with crashapp...I mean voicecrash....I meant crashthread...all of the above!Show lessBabyDragon9000
