Worked reasonably well for a while, now stuck when loading

(Preface that I am a paying customer on the annual subscription plan) I accidentally tried to open online mode when I was on a flight and didn't have access to the internet. It gave an error that it couldn't connect to the server, which is to be expected. But now, when I am back online, it constantly shows a blank white screen when I try to either play online or open my user profile. I tried multiple times deleting and reinstalling the app (and restarting my device to see if I can have the app's temp cache cleared), but it keeps getting stuck on the same screen. I sadly no longer have access to online mode.

Follow-up: It seems to be related to Game Center. I am having the same issue on both my iPhone and iPad. When I log out of Game Center, it forces me to log into it and gets stuck in the same place again.

We're sorry to hear that you've been having problems with Othello. Our developers have detected a game server outage and have been working hard over the last few days to resolve the issue. At the moment it looks like the issue has been resolved and the game server is back up.

The amount of ads is extremely excessive, before the game & after. Avoid this app for a much more pleasant less intrusive alternative.

Rigged Games Uninstalling

Don’t waste your time. The level of cheating in This game is so rigged with “elite” players…it’s nothing more than hard level computer programming when you are supposed to be playing online players or online players using cheats to calculate moves, telling them the perfect square to play. There is no way that many human players can come up with constantly strategically made moves to completely flip a game I don’t care how “elite” of a player you are. Edited to add players are flat out using cheating apps to know EXACTLY where to play…sorry there is NOT that many elite players on this app.

Gone downhill

I used to like this, but adds are now too frequent and too long……and I don’t do “subscriptions”, so now looking for an alternative from a competitor.

Cheating

Good game, but appeares there are people that has a way for cheating- in particular, when they are loosing, that don’t move for much longer then the timer cut off - sometimes even for 5 min, and then, all of a sudden you loose because you run out of time…extremely frustrating. One of those players is “you will wait no matter what’” and others. Please fix those glitches and eliminate the option for people to cheat

Terrible game play, too many adverts

Not much else to say. CPU was very boring to play… I beat it 56 to 8 so not much fun. Constant adverts taking over and couldn’t get away from them. I spent more time writing this review than playing!! Have already deleted. Save yourself the bother,

An enjoyable game, but the frequency of ads makes it almost unplayable. It’s literally a 30-second ad per tap outside of the game, such a shame.

Nude ads on the game when kids are playing its very not bright

#1 Its very not bright to allow nude ads when kids play on your game …..
#2 the off line game don’t works for several times now
