What a joke…. Just 1 big advertisement
Unbelievable … I have been watching ky3 for years and have been pretending to myself that it hasn’t been slipping to the degree it has for the same amount of time… I loved frantically getting into my shelter… oh but first… got to watch a commercial for a car and some legal services I don’t need at this very moment. I know you have to make money but my god!!! Every two seconds you tell me to get this wonderful app…. Not!!!! I’ll just stick to the national weather service. Save the scare fake urgency reporting for you guys…. Plus … when was the last time ky3 did any hard news stories???? Yup, I can’t remember either. What a shame and shame on you. Maybe I should write to “on your side” and ask that nice lady. Smh.

Needs a serious work over
So I’ve had this app for many years. It looks the same as it did on release day guys. Except recently you’ve decided to put ads after every other hour on the weather and force ads before watching a simple weather clip. I’m switching apps since you can’t seem to find this properly. It needs a serious ui overhaul and removal of ads or add a way to pay the ads away. Don’t force them. Many weather apps including the built in iPhone app work just as well and look way better so time to pick it up. Also note how every weather app from Oklahoma destroys yours. Their teams can even video a tornado while here you guys barely warn us in time. The tech is there and has been for many years you must be broke..

No tornado warning in app even with tornado 10 miles from my house and sirens
I’m not sure if KY3 has new management or what’s going on, but both the app and the weather coverage have been the worst I’ve ever seen. Twice within the last week I heard tornado sirens go off and quickly opened the app to see the tornado warning. There was no mention of any warning in app. I closed and refreshed the app multiple times and the warning never once showed up. Every other weather app had the tornado warning clearly visible at the top of the app screen. Within the KY3 app, there was only a thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch. I understand this maybe glitching once but it’s happened twice now within 7 days. This used to be my go-to app during severe storms but I think those days are over. We have more tornadoes coming into the area this evening and I won’t even be opening this app to check on warning statuses anymore since it’s so unreliable. I’d recommend finding a different app if you need severe storm notifications. You won’t get them here anymore.
