Leave a Review Stocks Live+ Best Stock Market
All you need App
I've been using this app for over 10 years, and I can't emphasize enough how much it's helped me gain detailed insights into any stocks. The support is outstanding—whenever there are issues, you get immediate feedback and assistance to resolve them. The app is packed with features, including the ability to manage multiple portfolios and track your annualized returns. You can also make changes to your positions on the go. One of my favorite features is the compare tool, which lets you quickly compare equities of interest. It's the best app available in the App Store, and the fact that it's a one-time purchase rather than a subscription makes it even better. It's reasonably priced and highly recommended—look no further!Show lessNew issue with recent update (but still a great app)
**new issue, there are no premarket changes showing anymore, and the average volume in the numbers page is blank. The bid and ask are showing as 0.00. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, same issue. Will know when market opens if the issues persist past premarket. Hope to see it fixed soon! Thank you! (update 1: this is only for iPad version, the phone version I just checked and is working perfectly. Phew!)
—- Great app, as it has always been. Most recent updates are great, but the big reasons to own this app are somewhat hidden. The ability to have a watchlist and a separate group of “portfolios” which is really powerful as a watchlist that tags the price when you started tracking it. Also, the heatmap view is the only way I’m able to manage a portfolio of more then 10 positions. Looking on Webull or TOS at a big list is cumbersome. Seeing it all, simply red to green, gives you places to focus your attention and the rest you can easily put on the side burner. The simple lime charts on the numbers view have a Y axis that must be some sort of support/resistance because they change based on the chart you’re looking at and match up with Fibonaccis quite often. Better then any simple line charts for spotting patterns like ascending triangles and pennants, etc. Tons of scanners, pretty nice! New ones all the time. Haven’t used the stocktwits thing yet but I’m sure I will. Thanks!Show lessDeveloper Response
Data is fixed in 29.5.Great Portfolio Tracking App!
Update: I no longer use this app because it’s basically tied to TDAmeritrade (and I suppose Schwab eventually), and I have E-Trade accounts. It’s too much of a hassle to manually enter every stock and every trade. It used to sync with Etrade via third party TradeIt. If E-Trade sync was brought back, I’d give it five stars again. If your broker is TDA, it’s still a five-star app. If you have another broker and don’t trade often it’s probably a five-star, if you trade all the time and don’t have TDA as your broker, it’s of much less value.
Previous Review: Best app of its type that I've used -- and I've tried a number of them. Most recently I was using PortfolioLive, which was the top portfolio app until all development ceased about 18 months ago. Now, Stocks Live is the King of the Hill. New features are added constantly and the developer really listens to feedback. If you have a good idea, he'll add it to his todo list and before long it'll be part of the program. This program while complex is easy to use and has almost no learning curve. Highly recommended!Show less
