  • Word of the Day?

I paid for the bundle and have been enjoying the word of the day. I checked my settings and I do have it set for word of the day-but it has disappeared. I even restored my past purchase and still no word of the day.🙁
  • No daily word

Ever since I updated my phone to iOS 13, there’s been no daily word. Hopefully you’re trying to update your app in order to catch up.
  • Disappointing

I love the dictionary so I gave it two stars, but I hate that I paid for the same crappy pronunciations I would get if I plugged these into any free text-to-speech app. I feel like charging for “Hawaiian audio” is pretty misleading. I want my dollar back.
  • Hawaiian is amazing

I LOVE THIS APP i’ve always wanted to learn Hawaiian & this app helps me with that✨🌊☀️
  • Not working after purchase

I paid the bundle. But it’s still having ads and no other functions running. No audio, no hawaiianize. Every time it still asks me to purchase the bundle. Contacted the developer, no response. Scam!!!!
  • Edo Eco

Love the language and Hawaii....thank you for the App
  • Had some glitches

I like the app for the most part, but it does have some glitches. Namely the audio glitch. Every time I attempt to play audio, I receive an error message. If I press the audio button a second time it usually plays… Not always. Searching for Hawaiian words using the okina is problematic. I’ve tried using both the Hawaiian and English keyboard and nine times out of 10 the word does not appear. I have to manually search by scrolling to find the word I’m looking for. There are many words the dictionary doesn’t contain, but I refernece my hardcover dictionary in those cases. Mainly I am using this app for pronunciation, so audio is extremely important to me. For the record, I have the full paid version. There are also some major words missing. Like the articles A and THE (He and Ka). Or the hysterical sweet potato (ʻuala) which is translated kweeki pokako. That’s not even a real translation. For the price I paid, I’m a bit dismayed.

  • Several short-comings...

Very limited dictionary, poor sorting in lookup lists, even main translate page functionality is not clear...needs a lot of work.
  • Doesn’t work even after I bought it

Unless you only want to translate the word Papa it doesn’t work.
  • Very helpful and fun

This is a great way to learn words in Hawaiian. They also have an app for translating names.

We used this quite a bit on our family vacation.

    This was helpful and fun!

    Thank you for this app!
