Degrading support and performance
Recently it’s not worth to use this app. Frequently getting “ Your transaction got failed as we couldn't authenticate your device. Please update your Paytm app and retry again or use other payment option.” I am using the same phone for the past 4 years (iPhone 11 pro) but not sure why I am getting this error. Getting only while using Paytm wallet. If 0 star is available I would have given. Not able to reach customer support as well. Worst AI automated bots. Pathetic.Show lessBuvaneswaran
Worst Customer Service & App Update
Customer Support not working at all. Most of the given numbers are just drive around IVR. Support throw app keeps loading. Issues are on open mode. FastTag cancel option removed unnecessarily. Provided sms link to cancel fastTag not even working. There are no email or sms support if phone call or app support not working. Website has no option for support too. Closure of Fast Tag
Have been trying to contact and close my Fast tag as I have sold my car. The App keeps giving me a website to connect to in order to take steps to close the Fast tag account. BUT it never opens and keeps redirecting me to the Pay TM App which keeps sending the same message.
No button to ask for assistance as well.

UI glitches and notifications abuse
This app feels like a mobile web version instead of a native app. It’s perhaps not a native UIKit or SwiftUI app but cheap React Native or something. Not saying using those frameworks is bad but using those and not providing a great experience is definitely bad and that’s on developer, not framework provider. Many times the parts of the app UI go under status bar and/or homebar making me think it ignores SafeArea insets.
This app sends me promotional notifications even though I have unchecked all types of notifications in the app setting. I still receive spam notifications. This is clearly an abuse of Push Notifications and I’ll be reporting it.
Apart from all that really bad UX and malpractices, the app does the job, mostly, so 3 stars.Show lesshvkale
It take ages to get refund
It take ages literally to get eticket booking refund. One has to send messages in chat several times and attach bank statements in support of the refund several times. It’s almost a month now yet I haven’t received my refunds. I’m waiting and checking my bank account but of no avail. I’m really frustrated now. I wonder whether they are fraud or what. I will complain it to consumer grievance site if they not return my hard earned money.
How did they got 4.7 rating when most of the reviews are in negative. I’m doubtful of the rating.Show lessShevetara

Life made easy with paytm payments Digitalisation in India seems ahead so called developed countries. I lived 14 years in USA till Sep 2020 and worked in IT. Believe me things really getting better and country is moving forward with digitalisation.G S K RAO
CRIMINAL APP!
"Most horrible app & service" is an understatement! Where do I even begin from?
There are infinitely many idiotic problems in this app, but I am able to relate just 1% of them.
I was trying to add money to Paytm Bank from wallet & it says, Payment declined by bank!

Beware of app. Might be compromised.
I tried using the app to recharge my Jio number and the app had me send a text message to two phone numbers for "verification purposes". I did so believing it to be part of the process and a few hours later I started receiving spam texts from one of the numbers and also from other numbers. They all have "otp" links in them, which I believe are scammers attempting to scam you. Reached out to paytm through Twitter but they never responded. Use this app at your own risk.Show lessraymanluk
Most pathetic customer service
The product might be ok but the customer service is the absolute worst. I wish I could give them negative stars. I’ve been trying to redeem my funds for the past 2 months and it hasn’t happened yet. They take ages to respond, and when they do, they just blurt out the process steps without coming to a solution or understanding my problems. I’ve sent two dozen emails, and phone calls don’t help either. I’ve also contacted them on Facebook and Twitter, but with no success.
This company is a perfect representation of yesteryear government babu-like employees who are lazy, do not like to work, will not help the customer at any cost, take no pride in their work, and live ordinary lives.
Give it 10-15 years, and they will all be replaced by bots, and they will be out on the streets. I absolutely hate this company from the bottom of my heart and wish for its downfall.Show lessdirtytackle
Terrible support and communication
I am trying to use PayTm postpaid but the moment I click on its icon I get an error message ‘could not get response from our server ‘ . Upon contacting the support team they
First, asked to me send the the screen shot which I did but it never resolved the issue
Second , they asked to reinstall app which also did not fix issue .
Third , they ask me to record video and upload via app. I get error message about file extension When I tried to i upload the video via app.
Now, they ask to me send video via email to ‘PayTm care’ which I sent three to four times.
Every time I send the video , I get an auto reply that mailbox is not monitored .
I sent the screen shot of my sent item , their auto reply to support but they kept saying send the video . This is frustratingShow lessNitin5acc
