The risk was well worth it.
After hearing mixed reviews of this game I decided to just go for it because of its mere $0.99 price tag. I can say that I am very very pleased with my purchase. Graphics are very nice and can be adjusted to your liking. The controls handle well once switched to the "fixed sticks" setting (the floating sticks scheme is a mess). The gameplay is fun and frantic as arcade type shooters should be and the amount of stages you have available are only limited to how big your music library is. Now for how good this game is there are some flaws. 1) being how you select your music could be vastly improved by just using the standard music UI that is on your iOS device. 2) the Internet radio section should allow use of things like Pandora and other Internet radio providers and not just a bunch of crappy channels. Overall the 4 star rating is accurate in my opinion, but if these problems get fixed it would be a must own in my eyes.Show lessDoopledorf
A great game, but...
The game's great - I've really enjoyed the PC version as well, and have been waiting for something like this to come to iOS. However, the UI for choosing tracks is awful… and borderline unusable on larger libraries. There's no way to jump to a specific artist, you can only skip between letters, so if you have a lot of tracks by one artist, but want to get the next artist after it, you need to scroll through all of those tracks… and there's no momentum scrolling either, so you'll be constantly flicking up or down just to get to one song.Show lessjslaterTO

Ive played this game on PS3 and i have to say this version is just as tightly controlled and fun. The addition of the internet radio is very nice as well. A must buy for music lovers and game lovers alike.Solid87Fox

EVEN BETTER THAN PC VERSION
I like the iOS version way more than the PC version for two main reasons:
iOS is WAY more visually intense, especially at 200%
And the enemies respond to music in iOS, where as on PC they don't stop when the music slows down.
