Nice demos, but it didn't like my own MIDI file
It couldn't open the first MIDI file I threw at it. Presumably a little more work is needed. The demo files worked nicely. I installed a competing product, which handled my file successfully. (It would be unkind to say which competing product I installed!)RatherShocked

Please email Roni Music the file that didn't open OK. If it's a bug in Sweet MIDI Player, then we will fix it at once.Annoyed
I downloaded this app and then downloaded several songs. Only after I had done this did a message appear saying the free version only plays 75% of the tune and you need the paid version. Why did it not say this at the outset and, I can’t find a paid version.Absolutely fed up

In the last three years I have tried many apps for sequencing and paid some dollars for them and most wore useless. When I found this one I was impressed clean display and does all I need it to do. What I am most impressed it is very easy to use. The sounds that comes out from the iPad are thin so I prefer use my sound modules like Roland xv5050.Show lessElgaucho49

The developer really knows his SMFs unlike so many designing music apps today.
Many apps choke on opening an SMF O but Sweet Midi just offers to convert an O to a 1 — problem solved !!!

Good for the basics
Great app, works well with core midi apps and external modules, would like more options on sound selection on tracks other than the basic 127 GM. Maybe GM2 or XG with more sound selections, I’ve used this app to perform live and it works well, just a little restrictive for midi editingKev in Bournemouth
Value for money
I bought this app to play midi files on my iPad with lyrics being displayed for live gigs. Works like a dream. Terrific support from the developer as well.griffo3287
Great app and it keeps getting better
I’ve been using this app to play along with lyrics and chord prompts and it’s just brilliant. I have noticed now you can also use this app as a sound module for playing the midi instruments with a midi keyboard making this a really flexible. Using your own sound fonts is also a breeze.Jonky Ponky
