Lifesaver
I tend to just use the standard ‘review’ feature as I find the other modes pretty pointless and not too helpful for learning. Having said that the app does have a variety of useful features, like being able to remove cards you mark as ‘learned’ meaning you can focus on what you don’t know.

Simple and easy
This is a very simple app that’s great for studying, however it’s ridiculous we have to purchase the full version to unlock more games and do monthly payments. That’s my only complaintShadowFughtSh
Perfect study tool
My kids love using this for studying for tests, it is fun and so versatile. You can make the flashcards just as you wish, using pictures, etc. Games are fun, too and add variety. Great app!mommyofliande
Great app helping my kids learn
I homeschooled my daughter using Classical Conversations, which required a lot of memorization of facts. I love how I was able to easily add pictures by using the camera on my iPad, and how I could record the songs (that are used to memorize different facts) directly onto the card. My daughter begged to play the review games. I bought the upgrade, and for us, it was money well spent. The games are varied and kept my daughter interested enough so she could memorize her material.
Now I am in court reporting school and required to memorize a lot of information. I set the cards up so that they automatically flip and my hands never have to leave the stenograph. I am able to see immediately if I wrote the word correctly on my machine which helps reinforce the learning. I love that I can create a stack of cards and share them with my classmates. I recommend this app to all my school peers.Show lessdrs75
Excellent Flashcard App!
I got this app due to its ability to write with iPad pencil. It works great! Has some nice features as well such as taking a picture and writing on it like a note card. Great for studying! Highly recommend!!BlackHawk126
Excellent training device
This is an excellent training device. I have been using it for many years and will definitely continue to do so.
I like the way that I can make up cards and use them on the go - either as Notes to refer to or as items to memorise.
I've found the support excellent - generally it has been me making suggestions for slight tweaks to improve functionality. These have been listened to and some have been actioned.

Life Saver!!
I absolutely love this app! It literally got me through pharmacy school! It helped me memorize over 400 prescription drugs, drug classifications, and measurement conversions. it’s been over a year since I graduated and I still use it as a reference. Best flashcard app
I absolutely love this app and recommend it to everyone! The games are really fun and if I have five extra minutes here or there, it's easy to open the app and study. I love that there is audio as well.Jvglfh
Absolute Garbage
This app used to be good, but now they offer no variety and makes you want to stop studying. My son hates this app and never wants to do his homework and is always playing his computer games. Not recommended.JOnAppStore

Sorry about your son's experience. It looks like he uses a free edition without a variety of educational games and tools. Maybe he just disconnected from his teacher's class as there are no changes on our side.
