Horrible customer service
I’ve used this app for years, and actually quite liked it but the customer service I’ve received over the past few weeks is enough for me to never use it again.
My account was hacked and someone spent $325 on my card. I’ve contacted HeyYou numerous times via in-app support, email, live chat and even instagram. I got an email response 3 days later saying they are looking into the issue and then they closed my support ticket and asked for a rating !!! Still haven’t heard back from them despite them being able to post multiple Instagram stories and posts daily. Will be taking this issue to the ACCC.Show lessPrivacy concern. Money taken. Used to be a great app until recently. During the recent upgrade in December 2023, accounts got mixed up and users were able to see other users info. My credit card got charged twice without me using it and I immediately logged in to see some other users info but my card details. Immediately raised a complaint with hey you for which I got a response back stating this will be looked into but it is almost 3-4 weeks still no reply after even after multiple emails. I can still see another users personal information on my app and this could be the same for others if affected. Please beware. I am fed up of following up and I will be escalating this to ACCC.Show lessRide in costs is ridiculous
My local coffee shop charges $5 for my coffee of choice. The prices used to be a little more with Hey You but I was happy to pay for the convenience. However all of a sudden the prices have gone up to a ridiculous level and I was charged $6.80 by Hey You, with a supposed $0.34 dollar service fee. The coffee still costs $5 dollars in the shop so where is the extra $1.40 going! I have used Hey You for well over a year and most days - I won’t be doing so any more. Ridiculous!Show less
