Currency issues?
This game seems rushed out the door. Despite having adequate funds it wont allow me to buy stuff and half the time doesnt credit me for the work staff is doing.
Throwing a vote in for soccer/ football or game dev 2 for the next release since this was just an edo town skin.DrummerBoyJoe
Fun but hard........
This game is very addicting because its a very hard game, not like Oh! Edo Town, which was easy. Its graphics are okay, but thing I think that made up for it was the layers of depth. You have to manage well and money is usually tight, however if you understand the game and enjoy managing things or you just want a new game and have an extra 5 bucks, you should probably get this app.😃 Go Kairo!Show lessPersonThatIsLiving

Easy to learn, fun to master
With it's simple, easy-to-understand graphics, Venture Towns does something awesome: Gives you an intricate city planning game that doesn't look like a spreadsheet and happens to be fun. This game is definitely worth a look.Dangerspud7

Really disappointed
I agree with everyone saying this is Kairo's least inspired game yet. Graphically it is nothing novel, and the goal of getting everyone to work and shop is depressing and feels almost evil. The mall game they made was a similar goal, obviously, but due to the graphics came across charming.
This game soured me on Kairo. And it kind of irks me that all their games get worse after Game Dev and Hot Springs. Will they recover their creative spark? How ironic that the goal of Game Dev story was ultimately to just churn out sequels--that's all they're doing now.Show lessRaggedrobin666

If you enjoy a nice manage-your-own-business type game with plenty of things to do, this is a great game! Plus it's a Kairosoft game, so obviously worth a try if nothing else. 5-starsFewfre
Land values are a bad idea
Like a lot of other people, I've bought all the other games by Kairosoft and loved each one, but this game is getting too complicated now. Land values are seriously ruining what would otherwise be a good game. Obviously it needs to be different from Edo Towns in some way otherwise it's just a modern day equivalent. But there must have been something else that could be changed?? It costs ridiculous amounts of money to even lay roads and plant trees!!Show lessAteleryks

this is actually not as easy i thought it would have been. i am always in debt at the end of the year until i get rent, and it's more harder to get the netizens to go to the stores. But it's not easy so that makes it a good game i think :)....keep up the good work kairosoft! i'll be waiting for more great apps!Show lessJourneylover4eva100
