Good across kids ages

Really holds my children’s interest. I like that there are different options for the letter style in the settings. We’ve had this app a long time and it’s really had good staying power. There are even more categories now, like shapes and cursive, which are great additions for us since my kids are 2 different ages. They both get a lot out of playing this app. It says for age 4+ but you can definitely use with younger kids.

Very disappointed in new update

We did love this game until the update, I had previously purchased the full upper and lower case alphabet, numbers and shapes. Now that I’ve done the update I’m back to having the lite version (so only a couple of letters) unless I pay the subscription. I feel robbed as this was something I had already paid for and it has been taken away. Now we have two disappointed preschoolers.

If you have previously purchased the full version, all you have to do is to click on the 'Restore Purchases' button. It will load all of the content + the freshly added 'Spelling' component as well! You won't be ever charged again for accessing what you already paid for. That is why we sent an email to all of the users prior to this update. If you need help or can't restore your purchase, contact us at support@letterschool.org and we will assist you!

Excellent app for learning fine motor + letters

I work with children who have autism and this is one of the very few apps that helps target children learning their letters and fine motor skills. The animation is captivating. In fact, some will even ask for the app to play with on their breaks!

As a Nanny I’ve loved this app for years!

The recommended age says 4+, but I’ve always used this app with children aged 18m+ - initially with them just watching me do it, then by 2/3yrs old they’re able to form the letters themselves.
An invaluable tool when used in conjunction with other activities encouraging phonics, reading and letter and number formation!

Great writing starter

Lite version is a great start to the first 5 letters of the alphabet with engaging themes to focus the child and repetition to remember them.

A+!!

3 year old granddaughter loves it! I finally bought the full version when I saw how much she liked LetterSchool and preferred it over the other alphabet games. It’s a little pricey, which is why I hesitated to buy, but I finally gave in. The letter traces with fun images instead of just a line like other tracing apps. There are also cute reward animations when she gets it right, or helpful animations when she gets off track. Thanks for making a great learning app!

Frustrating

The app is great. Getting it to work on multiple devices is frustrating. Any clues how to get this right? Yes both operate the same Apple ID

Shame about the cursive styles on offer

The interaction is great but anyone in the UK looking to purchase should review the cursive styles on offer. The letters b and z for example are not what are being taught in schools. This takes into account the three cursive styles on offer.
