Fun, but unfortunately..
I really like this game because of the cute pets, nostalgia, and active players considering how old the game is. My only issue with it is the lack of ways to earn gems. While looking up ways online, I learned doing the goals that require you to download storm8’s other games and playing to specific levels earns you gems. So I did just that, and made it all the way to level 30 to earn nothing. It glitched and the reward was blank, and I received no coins OR gems. I spent a while on this, so I tried to submit a ticket to the website only for them to say they aren’t receiving any for this game. People still play this game, yet they pay no attention to all those players, no new releases of pets or items, and no compensation to those who were wronged from misclicks or glitches. There’s no way to complete all these quests requiring me to spend gems on pets, or wasting them to skip the quest. I also HATE how randomly babies get sick in the nursery and you have to pay gems? How am I ever gonna save up for cool pets when I can’t get gems needed for them? Glitches, Gems, Pay to Play
I first started playing this game ever since it came out and I had so much fun. However, there is one single problem that still annoys me today, which is gems. You literally only get like 20 gems throughout the entire gems including quests and everything. Given the mere 20 gems you get without paying, in order to fully complete this game with all pets, you need over 5,000. This is extremely ridiculous. Who would ever want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a kids game just to fully 100% complete the game. You are only able to get the limited options of pets in the game that are not bought with gems. In fact, a ton of quests involve having to buy pets with gems when some of those pets cost more gems than you could ever get in the game without paying money. Onto the glitches. When I returned to this game after not playing for about 5 years, I was astounded with the amount of glitches in the game. One moment I buy a chihuahua and the next moment it completely vanishes. Also, sometimes when you buy a mate and breed a baby, both the mate and the baby in the nursery also completely vanishes with the money you spent on it also disappearing. Absolutely ridiculous. TL;DR: If you want to complete the game without spending money and are annoyed by glitches, do not download. Other than that, this is still a pretty fun game, and I wish the developers spent more time actually fixing this game than giving up on it.Show lessMacaroncx

I give this app a five star review. My time on this app has been crazy and life changing. I was groomed. this was a crazy deep dark and intricate app when u were able to uncover a- idk it was crazy. I learned how to roleplay on this app using the “wall.” it was a weird society that is honestly so crazy when I think about it now. There was all of these people, role playing and creating attachments. it was like a little neighborhood, everyone knew everyone and we all had crazy stories and interactions. of course, some people had to abuse this. there was a lot of sex roleplay. I was addicted to this app to the point that I would hide in the bathroom and play for hours. my mom eventually discovered what I was doing and who I was talking to so she banned me. I decided to search it up again, five years later and got SO TRIGGERED from the picture.

Pros: The game is cute. You can find friends easily by visiting people and reading their walls.
Cons: I need friends to complete a lot of stuff. Alone it takes weeks to build stuff. Also hate that you spend coins and still have to build certain pets. The amount of coins needed to buy stuff is crazy. Then there’s a ton that requires diamond. Half of the “missions” require pets that cost diamonds and there’s no way to earn them. Plus who’s spending $50 just to buy ONE animal? There are also glitches… like I won a Jack Russell for completing a collection and he’s invisible. Then my friends can send parts but I have no idea what some are for. So I just have junk sitting in my storage. Really they should only be sending what is asked for.Show lessNotNicky

This game is amazing- just like it was 10 years ago! So glad this game is still on the app store, since they removed city story and farm story. However, there are some problems that need solving!! I think the developers have checked out- that's what everyone says- but I know this game still makes money so they should check back in Lol. 1.) To unlock and use all parts of this game, you have to buy gems. Buying gems should be used to get ahead, not because there's no other choice. 2.) The chihuahua glitch. I haven't played this game in YEARS until now, so there's probably more glitches that I haven't experienced yet, but I completed a mission that gave me a chihuahua and the dog glitches out so that it's invisible- fine whatever. But when it's time to collect the money, it doesn't work! It says I collected it, but doesn't go into my coins. Please fix these glitches at least!Show lessHOE$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Update 2022 ideas
Gems are hard to come by and money be tight since 2020 this game is fun but NOT affordable if you really want the dream pet shop you desire. The collections will cost 200 dollars in us money to crossbreed to just get coins. I feel if you spent money on a dog with gems they should bring gems and coins when you collect them. Or there should be a coin converter to gems. This game and I go WAY back I love how you HAVE to build a community! You have to go out visit others and supply them with their needs it’s amazing on who you meet and their idea for their pet shop designs. Maybe add mini game to earn gems and coins as well.
NOT ONLY I spent money on this game when I save my coins and BUY a ANIMAL the next time I go on that animal is gone like WHAT I bought my jack russell a partner and it’s partner is GONE.Show less20Taytay02
I Love this game however…
I love this game however there are so many flaws to it as well. First problem that should most definitely be fixed is gems. Like most people are saying who leave a review, the developers seem like they have just given up on this game which is unfortunate bc it’s such a nice game to play if you’re an animal lover. So I’m order to fix the problem of receiving more gems, make some of the rewards for missions be gems. Or, once in a while when you click on your animals to collect coins and feed them, hide in a gem here or there. I believe that would make the game more exciting to play. Next problem I can see is that some of the missions have you spend let’s say thousands of coins but in return the player only gets like a couple or few hundred coins. If this ever gets to the developers then I hope they fix these issues and fix all the glitches in the game. If the game gets updated then I believe more people would enjoy the game better. cool game, definitely needs improvement
So this game was awesome when I was younger, and I recently got back into it, but I noticed so many problems, little, but the effect on gameplay is big.
This game gets addicting, but once you realize that you can’t progress easily it gets annoying. I got to level 18 or 19 and it got so much harder to level up, and, most of the “quests” you do require gems, or a lot of money. Also, you only get gems for the first few quests, around 20 gems, but then you don’t get anymore for the first few levels, which makes it really hard to progress. There are also limited ways to get coins, your babies get sick after you don’t get them, and lots of glitches in the storm id thing.
This game needs improvement, and idk if they’re gonna do anything about this, so hopefully you see this!!! Please consider improving this game, there is so much potential!Show lessFiona the Deere
NEEDS a gems update
I’m only giving this three stars because of this huge issue: Gems.
The amount of free gems we get (starting and the 5 gems we get from like, two missions) are WAY too little! I mean, there are pets and the nursery spots that are over 100 gems, and we need to buy them! In my personal opinion, they’re trying to scam us! Also, the last update was TWO YEARS AGO! I have a suggestion: Update a bit more frequently please!
Here’s another suggestion: My ideas where people can get more gems easily!
That’s might be a bit easier but harder to get gems but, in the mission, “Saving Up” you could add like, when you collect pets, you also get 1-3 gems depending on how much the pet costs, or if you have a whole family or not. So in that mission, when you are “saving up” you also can collect gems a lot. I’m not saying for that ONE mission, I mean how we collect XP or coins, we should be able to do that with gems! Also, give us some gems form missions, 5 gems at least! (10 can be most or something like that). These are only my suggestions, but I hope you take these, developers, and use them.
Overall, the game is great! I would give it four stars, maybe even FIVE if the gem frequency was WAY better, but it isn’t. I hope whoever reads this, thinks for a moment before downloading the game.Show lessSuggestions 😊
Good game very fun
I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I love it! The animals are very cute and you CAN play it without spending money, yes you can do more if you spend money but I never spent money on this and have always had fun. The reason I don’t give 5 stars is because 1. The wait times can take multiple days in real time, I think the max should be maybe one day and 2. It’s always trying to advertise its other game, which is really annoying, I think it’s called home makeover or something but it has in game missions to download it and an ad for it pops up every 10-15 minutes and the only option when the ad pops up is “get now” or “I’ll download it later” when you don’t want to download it ever. I know it’s not a big deal but it’s very annoying. Other than that very good game, I would recommend.Show lessgodofthesharks
