Fun, But Lots of Glitches
I love playing this game, and it’s been great for keeping me sane while social distancing. However, there are multiple glitches that are very annoying. The one that bothers me most is that when you earn a pet and you buy a mate for it the mate disappears and then you have to buy another mate.
I just earned the Jack Russell, bought a mate, and started breeding a baby. Then my mate disappeared and my nursery was empty, but I had lost the money that I spent on them. This glitch is very frustrating and I would enjoy the game much more if it were fixed.
My other issue with the game is that too many things rely on gems. I understand that the point of this game is to make money for the company, but gems really should be reserved to purchase cool pets or decorations. In my opinion it’s absolutely unfair to have a task rely on purchasing something that costs gems when they’re almost impossible to earn in the game.
Also, once you reach a certain point breeding times are much too long. It should not take multiple days to breed almost everything.
Again, I would like to reiterate that I genuinely enjoy this game. I would not bother leaving a review asking for fixes if I didn’t. This is a great game and you will enjoy playing it. However, I would love to see these glitches fixed ASAP.Show lessSkyMarie123
This game is great but has some problems
Before I say anything negative about the game, I love this game. It’s so much fun. I love animals and I was so sad when the game Mini Pets left. (R.I.P. Mini Pets) This game is pretty much the same game and I love that about it. But some pets cost so many gems and it’s pretty much impossible to get gems. It’s so so annoying. I think that adds should be added. Like if you watch an add then you get to spin a wheel with different prizes and you can win gems, coins, and even pets! This would be a great addition to the game so that you don’t have to pay for stuff. Also, I got a chihuahua and whenever I get onto the game it disappears! Like it’s pen is still there and it has hearts floating above the pen, but there isn’t a chihuahua! It’s so so so annoying so please fix it. It is an awesome game but I do not like that for some enclosures you have to get special things that you have to ask your neighbors for. Also it is way to gem dependent. I earned the first few gems by finishing a job but then there was no way to get a gem. So when you level up you should get at least 10 gems because the animals are a ridiculous amount of gems and kids like me do not want to spend money on a rip off. Also you would never be able to get enough gems to buy some of the animals and some animals are too much money. An example of the most money for an animal is 1,200. So if you do not fix these problems I will delete the game and tell all my friends to not get it. I also think that for every person that leaves the shop with a carrier that the person playing the game should get at least 200 coins. Bye really hope you change these things.Show less🐆🐅🐕123

Let me start off by saying I have been playing this game since I was like 5 years old, along with Zoo story. This was always the game I liked the least, not because of the graphics or situations, but simply because having nothing to buy without diamonds makes the game so boring. I am not going to spend my money on this app, but everything I have to do basically just uses diamond. Heal and animal? Diamonds. Buy ≈50% of the store? Diamonds. Rush jobs to complete tasks in time? Diamonds. It seems like a game so diamond-heavy would give you alternate means to earn diamonds, right? Wrong. The only way to grow a stock of diamonds past the 20 they give you in the very beginning is to spend money. It’s absolutely ridiculous that this company is just too greedy to improve what could have been a very good game. Disappointing, actually.Show lesspennylane910
My favorite but I have some suggestions...
I played this game when I was 5 on my moms old phone. And when mom got rid of that phone, I forgot about that game, when I was 9, I found it and my heart bursted, I remembered everything....I was happy, I downloaded it and played, I had to restart but I didn’t mind me. Now I’m 11 and I still love the game, and I’m with anyone who loves it too. Also, I got to a point where is game me no more missions, I got upset because I wanted to buy a pet that I wanted to buy when I started the game, and I was sad because it takes forever for things to bread, the border collie is super expensive and only buying gems can get that, also, I’m not allowed to buy anything with real money 💰 and now I’m just to the point where I could delete the game maybe😭😭😭Show lessI LOVE MY WORLD🤩

Wow, NOTHING has changed. I haven’t played this game for 2 years. 2 YEARS. Not a single improvement, nothing new added, and the already rare updates now almost NEVER happen. I remember when I was like, 10, and played this game, I wanted my parents to buy me gems and I am honestly so glad that they didn’t, because even the cheapest gem pack isn’t worth it. The developers (if you can call them that, all they did was slap some animators and artists work together into something that can barely be called a game) won’t read this, they never read reviews. The company is money hungry and doesn’t care, a single look at their most recent games can tell you that. There’s only one. And it’s based around the property brothers. Go download dragonvale if you want a game like this that’s actually playable and fun.Show lessOwOgod
Fun but not fixed
This game is fun and a great way to play with your digital pet! You can make your shop bigger by buying pets, and you can visit your friend’s shop! Pet shop is a great way to play with your pets! I do wish that they would let you collect gems from your pets, so it is easier, but overall, pet shop story is a great fun game to play, and you should try it out!
It is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to get gems from this game without paying real money! This stinks because half of the really cool pets need gems, and I am all out of them! The pets cost way to much gems! For example, the game lets you start with a few gems, which are enough to get ONE pet! And it is really frustrating when there is just one pet, that you can’t get without paying real money! Also if you are trying to sell a pet that costs gems in the first place, it pays you back with like 100 coins, when that gets you like the cheapest pet in the game! You NEED to please lower prices and once in a while give us a gem or 2.

WAY TOO GEM-DEPENDANT
This game is awesome! I’ve played it every since I was a little kid. I downloaded it again to kinda reminisce on some nostalgia but I was sad to see there had been no major changes after years. First off, I really think there needs to be an option to change the wallpaper, flooring, or door. I think it’s a really fun way to make the shops unique. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! This game relies so heavily on gems and sometimes coins when it comes to moving forward and progressing in this game! When I had downloaded it, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw I could do missions for gems! It was an awesome way to actually WORK FOR THE GEMS AND EARN THEM. Please at least include gems when you level up? It would be better for those not willing to spend actual money on something that can’t even be device-transferable. Good game, but forgetful!
This is one of the better games I’ve found in the App Store, but it still needs some updates. First, it needs to save and remember better. I just finished a timed quest and got the reward, but I came back a few hours later and it was expired. It was the one with the Dalmatians. When I finished it I still got the achievement thing. When I came back I don’t know if I kept the rewards. That is one thing, the next is that there is NO WAY to get gems, so there needs to be an easier way to get gems or less uses for them. Next is the quests that are only adds for apps. I wouldn’t complain about this if there were less and there were rewards. Pleas take this into consideration. Thank you!!!Show lessFawn Pelt
Fun but...needs work
I love this game and think it’s a great pass time but there are a lot of flaws one being that there’s not enough ways to collect gems also all the pets are so expensive in gems as well as in coins and some items you need to ask friends or neighbors for help on certain items and the don’t always deliver. I think it should come completed so you just have buy it and wait and then you have that item, another thing is it’s so small and you can’t expand unless you have a lot of coins and at least 4 permits. Although there are these flaws that need attention I do really enjoy it and it’s a very good way to let time slip by when you are on a long car ride or just waiting on something in general. This game is fun but it does need some work.Show lesspet girly
