Best thing since slice bread
The iStomp pedal and the app for managing it really are an amazing idea. It's got great sound because all the processing is on the pedal, but its super easy to configure because you have the touch screen UI of the app. Other multi effects do let you configure with a computer, but this is better because you always have your phone with you.
The Angelic Choir effect is amazing, I can't believe I get that sound out of my guitar. That effect is worth the price of the iStomp alone. Digitech please bring out more synth like effects for the iStomp!Show lessjamesdlow

Something like this should of came along time ago...but never the less good timing I just hope they'll have sales on the expensive pedals...but at the same time who can complain because some if the pedals are for $0.99 which is SWEEEEET!!!!shoken

Love It!
I love this thing. Obviously you wouldn't download to it during a gig but I wouldn't hesitate to use it during one. Seems very sturdy. What I like about it most though is that it makes me feel like I have access to an equipment closet you might find at a nice studio. Every effect I've tried is like a little sonic jewel. My personal favorite is the spring but the octaver, envelope filter and phaser are awesome too. And this is the first digital fuzz I've tried that sounds like the real thing. I'll probably end up buying another just because I don't want to be without the spring.Show lessCosmic Comic
Semi-not-so-lame guitarist
Originally thought about the iStomp as kind of a gimmick. After owning it, I realize just how clueless I was!!! This is a freakin' amazing pedal! These effects in the Stomp Shop are killer! There's no way I could have afforded to buy all the pedals I've already bought from Stomp Shop if I had to buy regular pedals. I'm starting to get push notifications for new pedals at like $0.99 each! I get a freakin' new killer pedal for $0.99! Now I've got a new problem - I want (need) more iStomps! Good Idea! Not Yet 100%
No problems loading 'paid for' pedals to istomp, however couldn't demo all the pedals, bug needs ironed out.
Range of pedals is good but some feel a bit the same. I think you get what you pay for. The obvious 'classic' max priced pedals are the best. However after the initial up front cost of the istomp, the longer term benefits will pay off especially if digitech keep offering new pedalsShow lessPedalboy
Great purchase
Pedal works and sounds amazing. Make sure you put the pedal in the right positioning in your pedal chain ie: delay should be the last pedal in the chain going directly to the amp. Application is awesome the try feature is really cool! Only one problem the sample does not play when you are previewing the pedal on the iPad2! Please fix!Show lessDJ VEKTOR
