Amazing app and pedal
I don't see what is up with all of these bad reviews. The pedal works perfectly. I have the limited edition checkerboard finish made for Vans Warped Tour. I'm on an iPod Touch 5 too. I had to buy a 30 pin to lightning converter but other than that the app and pedal work perfectly. I highly recommend this app and iStomp pedal.Show lessThe Quaft
Avoid if your iDevice has a lightning connector
I have now come to despise Apple. There is a bug with the lightning connector that renders this pedal useless if you have an iPhone with the new connector. I do not believe this is digitech's issue since it did work (with the official Apple 30pin to lightning connector) with early versions of iOS. An Apple update killed it.
Lesson: don't depend on Apple if you need gear that continues to work. They are famous for abandoning legacy apps and hardware. The pedal, when properly loaded, sounds great btw. Most of the emulations I have sound very good. Of course, there is no way to load them to the iStomp with iOS 6.1.3 or higher.Show lessLeeCA1
These reviews disappoint me.
I currently don't own any istomp. However I'm looking to invest quiet a bit of money in them. I'm talking four or five of 'em. I would like to see these reviews turn around. I think and always thought Harmon has been top of the line products. That's why I'm so surprised at the reviews. I've listened to the effects and am very pleased that there are actual brands. (DOD, Lexicon, and a tube screamer)
The DOD Grunge sounds exactly like the one plugged into my amp now.

Nice but Buggy
I love this concept so much that I bought another istomp however it's unstable and crashes often along with some graphical glitches
Using iPad 2, thank goodness have one through work since it doesn't work with iPhone 5 or computer

Don't buy if you have an iPhone 5!
I had this app+pedal for a while and loved it with my iPhone 4. It really seemed perfect, but the second I tried it with the 5 it all went to hell. Doesn't matter if you have an adapter or not, it will not upload any pedals, and it will more then likely. If you have a 30 pin device, this really is a 5 star product, but as for everyone else, 1 star for a hunk of useless tech is generous. Very disappointed in Digitech and their ridiculously slow response to this problem.Show lessJoab
ios 6.1 broke this on iPhone 5?
Completely buggy on iPhone 5 and ios 6.1. Had a notification that digitech was working with apple but the sentence was cut off and no link anywhere. After 6.1.2 update no more notification but can't download anything to pedal without an error. Tried contacting support, no response in a few days. Sorry, but this is way too pricey a product for these kind of issues... Save your cash or make sure this issue is resolved first...Show less5linedan

Now appears to support iOS 6.1 and iPhone 5. I can do everything EXCEPT load pedals. Ugh!!!
I already have a big pedal board loaded to the gills with effects. My wife gave me the iStomp for Christmas as a total surprise, I'd never mentioned it. I'm truly impressed. For me it fills a gap. I use to have a Line6 MM4 in my board just for the occasional vibrato, phase and other modulation effects. I was able to kick it off the board and use the iStomp for this purpose. Effects I need sound great, and the load time is fine as I only do studio work.
4 stars for now as I can't use it with my iPhone 5 and 30pin to Lightning adapter (hopefully this is a quick firmware fix). So for now I have to use my iPhone.Show lessHemiolaz
Even MORE buggy now...
The app, once updated, keeps reminding me to updated the already updated app. It also now locks up when you try to play the pedal samples... Anyway, it's back to the lab again, yo!Zee & Joe
So bad
This company claims that they developed the system wit Apple. But they will not provide an iPhone 5 compatible cable or adaptor. So you have to buy your own. Wich will not do you any good, because the application crashes constantly (even though they developed it Apple, right?). They e-mail me yesterday (Friday) to say that the updated app will be live in a few hours. It has not been updated yet. So stuck at home in the blizzard with three grey paper weights. Also, they advertise a pedal as costing $.99. But in the application it shows it as $4.99. Should we trust that they will actually charge you $.99? Digitech?? Make it work!
I wasted no time once I saw this pedal just a few short days ago. It fills a void in my rig and I was excited it was from Digitech. I own many of their fine products and have for years. However I plugged her in and...Nothing. The app is toast. The new IOS update killed it.
Spoke to digitech. They said the fix was submitted and they are at Apples mercy. iTunes killed this idea. Apple updates every 5 seconds and a year from now will I be able to use the pedal? 10 years?? Digitech needs to support this via their own website!!!!!Show lessMr Pylak
