What's New in Soniq Movie
1.4.1
August 5, 2015
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
- Bug fix
Interesting tool for those that need to analyze audio in a movie file
It's a good spectrum analyzer and can render movies up 60fps and supports multiple standard resolutions.
Unfortunately, I had mistakenly downloaded this player to test-drive and thought the 99¢ in-app price was an permanent unlock feature—but it's a token for 10 minutes only. At the time, I hadn't realized the developer has a few related apps: Soniq Player plays iTunes songs, that does the same spectral analysis at 60fps but doesn't render a movie file. The other Soniq app is for mic input only and doesn't play iTunes songs.
