Most excellent - at last I can run it!

I have been running JRiver for a long time in Parallels virtual Windows without a hitch - but never been able to get J River remote to work connecting to the virtual Windows domain.
Now my woes are over because I now have JRiver 19 for MAC and hey presto - easy to connect!
The interface is comprehensive - well designed- good looking- and intuitive.
Bravo - all power to JRiver.

Brilliant partner for J.River

I will freely admit that what put me off this app was the price and I have been using a competitor's app. That worked fine up to a point. The JRemote app is far far less laggy and even my wife who hated the lag loves the app and it's more modern interface. No coplaints at all. I have tested with JRiver 19 running on a Windows 7pc and an Ipad 1 + Ipad 4 (IOS 6).

Very useful

Great for playing music but I mainly use it for managing and rating my music library. Highly recommended.

Great work

I use this all the time and love it. It works very nicely, it's stable and the UI feels slick. Clearly a lot of work has gone in and it's well worth the price.
Nice work.

In future updates I'd like to see gapless audio playback to This Device and icing on the cake would be DSP options like EQ and mid/side processing for headphones (I understand iOS 6 makes this easier to implement than it was). But I'm just greedy.

Indispensable

The perfect companion for JRiver on a PC. Have used other similar apps but keep returning to this as it keeps getting better with every upgrade.

Well worth the money.

Superb app that never fails and is regularly updated to keep it current and adds new features to boot. I can't recommend it enough and well worth the money.

Great app!

The jremote works great with my Hp netbook via jriver. It's exactly what I was looking for. I'm giving up on Sonos and moving o a PC source and this app allows me to control my entire library right from my couch...sweet. I can also use my TV to display the content very nice.

One wish. I download a lot of Grateful dead shows and a lot of the time the shows populate out of order as they were played during the concert. It would be nice to be able to drop/drag songs to be played in the order you would like.

I think it all goes back to the seq feature on jriver. I can't get rid of it and it files songs alphabetically.

Great app

Without question essential for use with JRiver Media Center. Very clean UI and incredible fast. Has most everything you want in remote. Acts as a player as well. The newest release fixed a few minor annoyances and added the ability to edit metadata. Being able to fix some data or assign a star ranking to song while you are relaxing and listening is the perfect time to do that.

There is still more functionality I'd like to see (like adding metadata to a blank field), but as a remote for JRiver, adds tremendous utility and makes my musical life more enjoyable.

Beautiful, powerful, brilliant app

I am a new user of JRiver's software, and was hoping that there was an equivalent to the iTunes Remote app. Well, JRemote is not just an equivalent, it blows the Apple app away. Incredibly well thought out, beautiful visually, a pleasure to use, and incredibly stable. As strong an iPad app as the JRiver software, and that is saying a lot. Some other reviewers complained about crashes, I have not had a single problem in 2 weeks of heavy use. It brings all the functionality of JRiver to my listening chair, I couldn't ask for anything better! (Well, if there were a button that would copy the name of the artist and album name to a Wikipedia app so we could get virtual liner notes on the fly, that would really rock!). Buy this app.
