Female perspective only
I wish there was a setting for man/woman learner. In Thai the endings and “I” are different for men/woman. It’s extremely confusing for a man to learn new language when the beginnings and ends are from female speaker. Also you will look like a fool if you didn’t know and learn everything the wrong way.Show lessmrk01
Extremely Helpful
This app is extremely helpful. I’m only interested in mastering a few important phrases. The app allows me to choose and then organize only the items I’m interested in practicing. I’ve definitely recommended this app to a few other people.VSYlp
A good resource when learning Thai
I am using this alongside learning Thai using Pimsleur. I think that it is a really good resource and worth the money. As other reviews have mentioned it does not allow you to switch between male/female which isn’t a big deal, but could confuse beginners.Crispusnashin
Great vocab app
I love how easy this app makes vocabulary, it sort of feels like a game and I like that it doesn’t force you to review what you already know well. You can move at your own pace.
I would just say now to rely solely on this, make sure you are supplementing it with learning about structure and grammar and listening to spoken Thai in context. There are some things that you won’t know just by using this app. For example it says aajaan means teacher but khruu means a k-12 teacher and aajaan is more a professor. I love this app! It has phonetics, pronunciation, and more. I wouldn’t change a thing about this app because I’m doing great in Thai and I’m even talking to my Thai friends in the language. The only thing i was recommend for the developers to add is a Alphabet.Nae nae 428
