How a world class event with major sponsors can accept such a poor app from the organisers is beyond me.

Won’t even open
It isn’t much good when it won’t open. I get the highlights in my news feed but when I go to open the app the wheels are turning but not going anywhere.

Not working
2nd day of Dakar 2022 and the app isn’t working in Australia. All of those millions of dollars spent on this race and they can’t make a decent app.

Video summaries are wrong
Please can you fix the “AUTO” video summaries. For Stage 1-7 you have the “LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES”. Very frustrating.

Tried to upload and run the app, four times failing, DELETE
Not much use except for the main categories bikes quads cars and trucks
This app has not been improved in years and badly needs an update to cover all categories and classes.
It is easier to get the info you are looking for from other places of the internet.
The media releases only partly cover the races because they are less than 30 minutes per day.
Dakar race management need to update themselves, the app and the media coverage if the rally is to continue to survive.
Billions of people are unable to get good coverage!

Super app
Très pro mais surtout format pour téléphone et non tablette. Mais bien montée.
Needs an iPad interface
Very poor app. Clearly written for phone and doesn’t rotate to landscape reliably, or at all. Videos as short as 20 Sec long mean closing video and re-opening next video from thumbnails displayed sideways. Sometimes they then start in landscape, mostly not and require picking up iPad and rotating back and forth 90 deg. Yuk guys!
