This app developer has removed previous functions that have been removed in the most recent update. This app no longer works as described by the app developer in the most recent update. I have purchased and was promised to have features that have now since been removed and are requiring me to purchase again. I would not trust the app developer.Show lessverified Purchaser 0101
No longer able to use my purchased voice
Not great you can’t use the voice purchased previously. I know there are many free options out there these days which are better than this, so it’s time to say goodbye to this app.olly barrett
Can’t select voices
I purchased the full version and there are only two voices either male or female and the voices are super robotic. Really regret this purchase.td84mn

The TTS engine does not work as it is supposed to. Words are not pronounced properly (in Spanish) it is annoying to hear a single page Keep away from this application.

Problems. They steal your money
You would have to pay again when you get a new phone. I’ve been trying for days to activate the app on my new iPhone and the app didn’t allowed me. I deleted the app and download it again and now he doesn’t recognize my purchase.toto1403
Piece of Garbage App!!!
This app used to be awesome. I used it all the time. Now the quality of the voice reading to you has changed and NOT for the better. It even SOUNDS cheap.
Now they want you to pay for it. If you don’t pay your reading will be paused and interrupted until you do.
It would be one thing if the quality of the voice was just as it was along with the bells and whistles that originally came with this app but that’s not the case.
They want you to pay for a far lesser quality product and the way they transitioned into this pile of trash is just not cool, to which I say Eff you vBookz!!!!
And yes I would have happily parted with 5 bucks for the original version of this app even as a yearly fee or whatever.

Update: I have been using VbookZ for 8+ years and love it but now it wants me to purchase aleeady purchased voices. I reqched out to support- we will see what they do to restore as now it pauses every five or so sentences- if they restore I will restore the 5 stars-
I have only been using today. Voice is fairly natural except for the way it reads "'" it reads couldn t or wouldn t. Kind of annoying.. Please fix!!! Then 5 star thus far.

Totally messed up app
I had this all before, lots of books all lost with the new November release. Developer has REALLY messed up. App doesn't work now and I don't have the library I had previously.

Good app but...
When I bought the voice I wanted, the app is stuck in PLEASE WAIT, CHECKING PAST PURCHASES mode. I have restarted the app and my phone but no luck. Can you please fix this? UPDATE - still not working and has less features than I remember out having after an update. Pauses every several seconds to tell me to buy a voice. I remember it used to let you use a free voice, but that option is gone. This went from great to useless.Show lesskillerkad
