Bad controls
Very hard for me to talk about the game itself because the absence of decent touch controls make this game almost impossible to play on an iphone. You either have to settle with a very bad on-screen dpad or some obscure menu layout design to do anything in this game.

Addictive and good fun
I can't say I expected a lot when downloading this game. So I was blown away when I realized I had been playing for over 4hrs. There is in game purchases but the game is totally playable with out them, and I mean totally. I described this game to my bf as final fantasy meets cooking mama without the boring stir this cut that stuff. It's really good fun, my only question is what to do with seeds?Show lessSaphikat

About 2 hours in and I'm hooked . A different premise for an RPG for sure . Nice controls great graphics , and the cooking and eating to lvl up is really cool .
Seems like it will be a nice long game
too . Will report back with more detail , but so far for a buck I'm very pleased
and this is definitely one of the better IOS RPG's I've played .

Folks !!!! To eat to lvl up - make some food then open the character menu . On the revolving menu on the left you will see the EAT option . Click and then select the character and tap their pic to eat and lvl up . ############ And to get cooking tools - blender , fry pan etc etc you buy them at the shop .
Andrew - when you make food enter the menu and there is an option to eat on the rolling options on the left- keep scrolling and you will find it . Hit eat then select your character and tap them - they will eat it and gain EX you can eat 99 sat a say . Just make sure you have made some food first otherwise there will be no EAT option . So if you made 6 scrambled eggs you could eat 2 one for your starting party members and then sell the rest on the menu .

Absolutely quality, first time I played it I was on it for a few hours. At 69p its such good value!
Takes about 20 minutes to understand what to do, but once you do it's sooooo good!

An interesting RPG
ABS has an interesting story. You play a little girl trying to help save your sister's bar from being close down. The only way your character can save the family Bar is by creating great dishes. The character has to gather food from different locations and fight monsters to get ingredients.
However, the problem I have with this game is the fact you can't level up like you would in a typical RPG by taking time in killing monsters. According to the description for this game you have to EAT food...well how does your character actually go about eating in the game? There is no explanation in the tutorial on how to EAT in the game. The only thing I could do was open the Bar with some food on the menu and still no progress on my character level. It gets frustrating every time I have to go and fight against monsters my character quickly dies. Maybe someone figure how to progress in LEVELING, if so please let me know how.
Don't get me wrong this game is worth giving a shot, but the leveling process is really taking out the enjoyment for me.Show lessWooshoo

This game is really good. If you like turn - based attacks and cool animation of skills then deffo purchase this game. 9/10. Only problem is, takes a while to get used to and can't use some moves and it doesn't tell you how either. All in all, great game (' ',)Bluemoonstuart

I dont usually review my purchases but with a title such as this its useful to let people know if its worth the asking price. If your a fan of traditonal RPG's then give this a bash. Its certainly worth 69p.
I have played the game for a few hours now and its certainly interesting.
It has an old school rpg battling system and a gathering cooking mechanic.
Its has great pick up and play style and can be saved at any time (a feature seriously lacking in alot of ios games) so you can just pick up where you left off.Show lessMitch1888
Tasty Dragons...
A clever idea and great fun to play. Graphic style has been executed really well and there is plenty of food to make to keep you leveling up. If your sick of the same old rpg style i.e. battle, gain exp and items... rinse repeat. This changes it up a bit.
Take a look if your an RPG or Sim fan.
