  • Fun game, Awful controls

This is a fairly fun game where you run a bar in an RPGs world, going through dungeons to collect ingredients and experimenting with cooking recipes to make food to sell.

It is generally pretty fun but the controls are awful which detracts quite a bit from the experience.
You have a choice between onscreen buttons/d-pad, or two types of touch controls. The touch controls are inaccurate and if you combine that with how you need to stand in specific locations, facing specific directions, they end up being difficult to use at best.
You are all but forced to use the dpad controls, and for someone with massive hands like me, that means this game is tough to play.

I'd avoid buying it unless you don't mind using an onscreen dpad, if you are ok with a dpad, the game is well worth picking up

  • Retro Goodness

I had been following this game for a while, and am happy that it has not disappointed me. The game reminds me of the SNES era, and is a classic dungeon crawler with a neat twist on the looting premise many RPGs follow.

Killing monsters nets you ingredients and new skills to use in combat. After returning back to the bar, you can cook meals using the ingredients to level up, as well as gain money by selling dishes to customers.

The graphics are simple, but charming. I would recommend this to anyone who likes classic turn-based RPGs. Those looking for a modern experience should maybe pass this one by.
