Brought you by the open-source OVMS project, you can finally remotely monitor your cutting edge Electric Vehicles. The app shows you your current state of charge (SOC), door/trunk/hood status, tire pressures and temperatures (TPMS), core system temperatures (PEM, motor, and ESS/battery), and displays your car's live GPS location on the map. Although separate OVMS hardware is required for remote monitoring your vehicle, you can try out this app and see what it can offer you via the included DEMO car account. Charging station integration and information provided by Zero Carbon World (http://www.zerocarbonworld.org/open-charge-map) and the Open Charge Map project (www.openchargemap.org). Great idea. Not so much the implementation
Got the hardware. Plugged in. Working. Connected to the server. I can use command line control but that is cumbersome and I am not e pert enough to get full functionality. The app is a great idea and provides an interface for that. Except it doesn’t work. Shame.

Must have for LEAF owners!
If you’re frustrated with CARWINGS/NissanConnect EV, OVMS is for you! Especially if you have a 2015 or older with 2G TCU that probably doesn’t work anymore. Just buy the OVMS box, set it up and connect it to your OBDII port. Has LTE & Wi-Fi support, so it will work for many years to come!

Issue with 2013 Nissan Leaf more recent update
AC ON / OFF button doesn’t show up in the app anymore. Have to use Homelink option 1 to turn ON and 2 to turn OFF.

TPMS tire pressure details are not shown anymore.

Lock and Unlock also doesn’t work!
