Something odd..
Hi Richard, I absolutely love this app and have found it to be indispensable whilst doing crosswords,it is the best! I think I’ve been using it for 5 years or so,maybe more, my memory isn’t what it was. Anyway something odd happened today-I moved house and haven’t done a crossword or used this app for about 12 months and first time back was looking for a word, typed in ?P?A?H and the only answer came up was SPLASH but that was wrong for what I needed. It should have also given me SPEACH as well. This has never, ever happened before that the answer list given to me was incomplete. Am I doing something wrong by this latest update? Is this a specialised word or have you misspelled this? Speech is usually spelled with a double-e. That might explain the omission?New theasurus is woeful and not worth the money
The latest update is not a move forward. The additional cost for the synonyms is not worth the money. Very disappointed.RobinNZ
Does what it says on the tin
This is my ‘go to’ app for helping with crossword solving. It is simple to use, and so refreshing that Richard the developer personally writes the release notes with such caring feelings about his users. Also great for Thesaurus, Definitions and Synonyms.
Most of the negative reviews on here are obviously written by very ignorant people who haven’t bothered to explore the app and discover it’s huge potential.Show lessAAPL-fanboy

This app has been my go-to for years. But the latest update has made it even better! I am more than happy to subscribe (only $3.99 a year), and am absolutely loving the new ‘tap to hold’ and shuffle anagram section 💕 Thanks so much.debnog

This is a great app for anyone who needs a bit of help with crosswords and other word puzzles. It’s easy to use and the latest update has improved its functionality hugely (at a very affordable price). In my view £2.49 is a price well worth paying to have no ads and give a developer who has put time and effort in this product some reward. I like the way this works and the linked dictionary is excellent. Some people say it's cheating - I say that crossword solving is a strategic task that can employ a number of tools. I don't use this solver unless I have exhausted all other tools.Bernouli

I recommend it highly. Having previously used an electronic dictionary I find this app faster and easier to use. The comprehensive coverage of vocabulary and definitions is commendable.
