The addiction and gameplay are top notch. This is the new Tetris!
However, because of the streamlined interface (hold/drag/release), it can be very easy (and frustrating) to make accidental movements. Not to mention how hard it can be to see under your finger. The other versions don't have this issue, thanks to mouse controls and no commitment/risk with dragging (here, if you drag off the screen you drop the block; or you forget you're holding a bot and release on a non-empty plot).
The game isn't so fast paced that an extra tap wouldn't hurt. Maybe have a "drop" button instead? I'm not sure what the answer is here, maybe the problem is me ;).
Thanks to Danc & Spry Fox for bringing a great game to iOS!
P.S. to all those complaining about paying to unlock turns: you can wait for them, or buy them with the in game coins you earn. If you're half decent, you can play this game indefinately without paying. And the unlock is easily worth $7.50 if you consider the other options of buying coins.
