Lost favourites
Other apps can retain all users favourites after updates! From food shopping lists, flights, takeaway food orders I could go on. No favourites on these apps are lost!
I think the developers need to... well, I think you know what to do.
Users might as well save the web address to the home screen of their device, it’s the same thing.
Why?
I appreciate that you want to update it, and that others will welcome adding the further functionality of the desktop site, but it is slow to use, difficult to navigate, does not easily retain your searches (clumsy to have to login to your account every time), gives priority to screen format rather than the images (which after all is the most important thing a buyer is looking at), the zoom element is frustrating, when you zoom on maps, the function buttons obscure the image.
I used to think this was the best home buying app around, and wondered why others did not replicate your format, but sadly rather than improve your offering you have succumbed to be like all the rest.
Please rethink and improve what you had rather than replicate your website for the small screen.

We are sorry that you don’t like our new app. Our previous app had become unsatisfactory and outdated. The issue with the expand & zoom has now been resolved and should be working correctly. The gallery option is still available once you click in to the property, but we will take your feedback on board and work to build this into the initial search results page in a future update. As the app is now linked to our website, it will ensure that wishlist properties are consistent regardless of where you are accessing your myASPC account and properties will no longer be deleted after an app update. The new format provides a base from which further enhancements can be developed. We acknowledge that there have been a few issues with this first deployment release, and we are working to get these remedied as quickly as possible. It is still possible to save your favourite properties by setting up a myASPC account. A large annoyance of the previous app was that the saved properties were cleared every time there was an update. As the app is now linked to our website, it will ensure that wishlist properties are consistent regardless of where you are accessing your myASPC account and properties will no longer be deleted after an app update. The new format provides a base from which further enhancements can be developed. Disappointing
Logging in on the website directly is a better option as unfortunate this app needs more work to make it a usable option.
