Qmix a great addition to SL Remote
At last the addition to SL Remote iPad control is here. Up to ten iPhones or iTouch wireless enabled units can Control individual Aux sends from a Studiolive mixer FireWire connected to a laptop.
No matter which performer you are, you now have the ability to set your monitor and mix levels to IEM's, wedges or headphones.
The drummer can change his mix on the fly without upsetting the FOH guys main mix. Vocalists can adjust their FX or mix levels during the show. A keyboard player can increase or decrease another performers level in their wedge with a minimum of fuss while sitting in the sweet spot. Performers really can't complain if they have control of their own monitor mix.......good solution to a long existing problem. It may promote a bit more understanding in the onstage environment.
