Improved workflow and usability for starting practice and ear training exercises. Now you're guided through the settings for scales, root movement and starting note. Previously, these settings were available in the Settings page but could be confusing. We removed the Settings page and now let you choose precisely and obviously what to practice. Introducing Practice mode where you can configure Scalar to take you through an interactive workout of whatever chord/scales you want. This version adds basic triads for practice and ear training. Description of Scalar

Scalar is a fun, interactive way to learn scales and study ear training. Scroll through all the jazz scales, hear the related chord and play along with the included metronome. The ear training exercises are based on the incredible work of David Baker. We've "appified" his exercises so that you can configure which chord/scales to work on as well as other parameters. These exercises are one of the best methods to help you get your ears together!
