App, after app, after app
I don't know how many todo and note taking apps I have tried... This app is organized so well. It does exactly what it claims while giving you enough freedom to adapt it to your own way of doing things. Excellent!! My only request is a way to quickly add a note or task on my iPhone and have it sync to my iPad. I know Evernote integration is on its way so maybe it will take care of it.

I have been using Beesy now for approximately 2 months and have found it very useful to track my project work, rather than relying on a hard copy notes and folders. I have found the people function most useful as I have a large and growing number of stakeholders in my project and Beesy has easily allowed me to keep track of the latest with each one of them and also to link them to the different parts of my project. The "To Do" section is also very useful as I can quickly see what I need to do and add actions easily through a number of avenues. I like the notes section as this has saved me time in recording file notes and minutes from meetings. Now I know that it is backed up through i tunes I am happy as I would not want to lose the work I have on my i Pad. It does take awhile to learn how to use it and I am still learning but their support is very good also. For the price it is a great project management app and I would highly recommend it.

Great app for note taking and follow up
I have tried several note taking apps for meetings. This is the one I use now.
True that the interface can be a bit daunting at first, but once you begin using it, you realise the extent of the power of the shortcuts. Allocating actions with dates and owners is actually a piece of cake.
The main drawback of other apps is their inability to show clearly the list of tasks. Beesy offers a todo list which is user friendly, easy to update, and provides a good basis for picking up matters arising.
The new version with audio and pictures should be a nice addition.
I am still waiting for the interface with the iPad todo list, and this would really be the bees knees...
On top of it, the development team is very reactive and got me out of trouble with a fix on the previous version.

This app has changed my life
I am a busy project manager who works across multiple clients, multiple projects, and multiple resources. Before this app, I used to take notes in a notebook. I always felt it was unproductive, because I had to come back to the office after a meeting, transfer and write up my notes, and store actions in a place that I would refer back to later for follow up. When you're really busy it's easy to not have time/forget/miss actions that are important and have deadlines.
I always felt there was a gap in the market for an app that would help make me more efficient, and my job less stressful. The other apps I'd looked at didn't do it anywhere near as well as this one.
With Beesy, I gain about an extra hour of chargeable time for every hour-long meeting I attend. I no longer have to rewrite my minutes, or transfer my actions. My minutes are formatted professionally and can be sent a minute after a meeting. Actions across all my meetings are no longer in different Word documents, or spread out through my notebook, or need to be transferred into a central location. I just press the To Do icon and I can see everything I need to do or chase up in date order. I can also quickly refer back to comments made in a meeting by using the Dashboard or the Notes icon.
There is a bit of a learning curve, and I recommend you read the help documentation before you hit your first meeting with the app. But once you've done this it's a breeze to use.

Great app but ...
This is truly a powerful app and has tons of features to offer! But ... The learning curve is fairly high as it used some unique paradigms and also some functionalities are still basic. For example, the To-Do aspect of the app could be a bit richer and include standard GTD (or others) features (I.e. tags, contexts, status etc.). Overall, money well spent and I am looking forward for new releases where hopefully some features will mature further and the UI might become a bit more intuitive.

Awesome App! Very well put together and simple to use
Finally, something that allows me to quickly create minutes as well as follow up actions. I love the way it integrates with my work calendar on my iPad and also how it allows me to allocate actions to other people and then easily track completion.
They have also done a good job allowing you to send anything (I.e. any view in the app) via an email, so you can easily send minutes or a list of tasks for a given resource.
The other bonus is that it lets you prepare for a meeting in advance, so you can create a structured agenda and send it from the app or keep track of the work that you need to do before the meeting.

Streamlines workflow A LOT
This app has been very helpful in streamlining my workflow. The syncing with iCal has been very helpful, and the ease at which one can organize a meeting, take notes, and send out minutes with tasks arranged by who's responsible is fantastic! And organizing tasks into the urgency/priority matrix that I've used for years is an awesome help. There is a bit of a learning curve and a few features still needed (e.g. A no date or "someday" date option), but this is by far the best productivity app I've tried--and I've tried many. Way to go!

Great integration
Great app, I have been using several apps to accomplish what this does in one. I used to take notes in one app and then transfer the actions from there to a to do app, this one does it automatically and ranks them, this is great. I also really like the ease of emailing my notes to others.
A few improvements would be to make the note search have a wild card search so I do not have to remember exactly how I wrote the note (like outlook). And to be able to write notes with a pen and not just typing.

I choose to use my OWN iPad at work for capturing notes during the MANY meetings I have with suppliers and colleagues.
I also use the iPad to create my to-do list and attempt to organise my workload.
There are many many apps out there that help with the above, some that have a great feature or two, but the vast majority just lack that final function/feature that would make them SO useful.
Well, BEESY is that app! I have spent a small fortune on various "meeting" note apps, GTD / to-do lists, but NONE are encapsulated within one forward-thinking developed app like Beesy. I get frustrated trying to decipher "reviews" on the app store, with half saying "buy this app it's great" and an equal number suggesting the opposite. Well, I can thoroughly recommend Beesy.
It needs a little bit of time to learn the basics and how it works, but that is a VERY small price to pay for the functionality, simplicity and integrated approach it gives you. And the icing on the cake? the development team that conceived it are VERY helpful and quick to respond.
Get it, invest a little time to learn it, and then don't look back!!!

This is the one!
I've tried lots of note takers and mostly wasted my money on them.
Bessy's laser focus on the meeting process is the big plus for the app. It's simplicity and focus is it's big plus, in this the app is better than other much more expensive offerings.
The minute you start using in a meeting, it just feels right.
