Overwhelmed by long ads
I understand that the user can buy an ad-free version at a reasonable price.
But before spending any money, I wanted to evaluate the app a little and see what it offered.
That was next to impossible. Ad after ad popped up. It seemed like there was one every minute. And they weren’t short ads either.
This gave me no chance to really evaluate the app. So it was a quick delete.

Great archive that is constantly updated, but NO bookmark option. This must be corrected!

Love the app.
Needs help.
Needs work. Also I wish they would go back to when one could just search three letters. After that was gone I regretted that I couldn’t search a wider variety of subjects and authors. I just sent an email because it’s not opening books that I’ve downloaded already. I don’t love it like I used to do.

Good but..
Really unorganized and buggy. Search function doesn’t work. Also, wayyy too many ads. I’m talking an ad in between almost every time you navigate the menu or browse to another book. Great selection from what I’ve been able to see so far though.

I’ve used this app for years and I really enjoy reading on it I do however think that it needs more books

You have to listen to advertising while your book is playing at the same time. Who’s the idiot that planned this?
Lost its appeal
This used to be a good app when I first got it— the ads were there but not intrusive, and I had no trouble using the app to read books for free. It was particularly useful for accessing audio books to listen to while I did other things. All that changed when I got a more up to date phone though. I found that I could no longer access any of the audiobooks I had downloaded— they simply did not play. I have tried to open some of the written books, but the only thing I can access now is endless adverts and the book itself never opens. As for the adverts themselves— they now take over the entire screen, and there is no X in the corner until the very end of the ad, which is usually a minute or more long, so I have to sit through the entire thing without skipping. This happens with every book I try to open, and still I cannot get to read the book. This is all very frustrating. Please fix— I am on the verge of deleting the app altogether.

I believe as soon as a app charges millions of users will miss out. Free is the way the web should be and free books must know that we all Love this app!

Good few fixes would be great
I love reading and online is just easier and less noisy I love oodles it’s great but there aren’t many well known books from 20th century for kids especially so if you could add more then that would be great other than that absolutely amazing definitely recommend especially if you like classics
Not good.
Not a good app, the constant non-stop pop up ads are horrible I felt like I was going to go crazy because I could barely type in the name of the book/author without getting at least 5 ads just to find out the only type of books they have are old school type of books. No hate on old school their just not my type of thing.
