Nice
Nice gameplay, with graphics that are not too "cute".
There could be a little better explanation of what each tower does. Or a way to pull up info on each tower.
I have often tried to click the pause button only to end up planting a tower instead. It would be nice if the pause area might be a little larger; especially for some of the multi-castled maps.
It seems easy to "accidentally" place a tower when I am trying to get rid of the tower place GUI.
I am still fighting the ice trolls, but look forward to more maps and towers in the future.
update 1-- ONLY listing 4 stars because of the payola mess inside the IAP.
update 2 -- the Retina displays have caused app sizes to grow out of control. It would be nice if there was way to use more vectoring to get decent graphics without causing app sizes to be unnecessarily large for those of us without Retina display devices.Show lessJaymus

Good game, interface is same as most tower defense games.
Nothing groundbreaking here except for the gems.
Designers have intentionally set up the game so that the higher difficulty levels can't be beat without upgrading your skills ... which requires gems. Levels are unlocked with gems as well. Would rather pay a nominal fee upfront so that the amount of money required to play entire game is known. Well, the have to make money somehow I guess.Show lessTower prowler

Ok for what it is. Simple path following tower defence game. Nothing new if you've played them before. After playing "kingdom rush" for the past few weeks this feels dull in comparison.Cuzbuz64
Trying too hard
This game has a lot of potential but dropped the ball. This game has all the elements of a great tower defense but it becomes very obvious early on that this is supposed to be a money maker. Slow gem generation and high upgrade costs that increase with time means the game cannot be beat without spending a LOT of money. Tower defense is my favorite kind of iPhone game and I could not beat the second world without spending cash even on the easiest setting. Reduce the difficulty so people don't get so frustrated early on and this game might be a hit instead of a regret.Show lessTrojanSparty
Addictive much?
Cannot put this game down... I keep completing a level, then find the next one harder, but won't give in..... I end up playing this game for hours on end. I am determined to beat the trolls!!!

good tower defense
Good variety of weapons. Can build towers while paused. But cannot sell unless unpaused.
It's a little hard to identify the towers when they are crowded next to each others. Sometimes selecting a towers amongs a group of crowed towers is a bit tricky because there is limited amount of zoom available.
Some casual level are not easy.
When your special weapons (e.g. mines) run out, the next time you use the mines, you will use up some valuable gems. I unintentionally used up some gems this way. I wish there's a way to disable it.
Most of the maps have fixed paths for the attackers. But in the open field maps, you build towers to create paths.
The best bangs for the bucks are the all worlds pack and the gem multiplier.Show lessdustinmyglass

Well-made game
The gameplay is great, the music is nice and you don't have to buy anything with real money to progress (but the option is there if you don't feel like spending days getting enough gems to upgrade). My only gripe is the need to be online to unlock the level packs. Aside from that, it is good clean addictive fun. 5 stars from me.Show lessloudwhitenoise
