  • Truly great

Bought on a whim the other day. I was extremely pleased that it was a much deeper and more expansive program than originally thought. I love the effects and the music scores are well put together. Great for a board game night or next DND session, I hope!

As said in another review, I wish to see this be able to run in the background in the future updates. I would love love love that feature... Else, 5 stars though!!!!

  • Near Perfection!

When I first encountered this app on my iPad, I could see a lot of potential despite a few minor issues. And just one day after buying the app, an update was released fixing most of them! This app is a wonderful tool for making RPG sessions more immersive and fun, especially with the ability to import music from iTunes!

I am very glad to see the developers continuing to improve their product. At this point, the only thing I would hope to see in a future update, is the option to allow the app to continue to play music and sounds while the app is in the background. This would allow a DM to set up desired ambience for an encounter, and then switch over to another app like an initiative tracker without the need for more than one mobile device.

    Keep up the excellent work!

  • New iPad

I don't think this is iPad3 ready, weird stuff with screen (new resolution, but button placement is locked to a different resolution) and so is currently unusable!
  • An incredible DM tool

I was talking with my group about an Underdark campaign I wanted to run and desperately wanted a way to recreate cave ambience and effects.

Well thanks to this wonderful app now I have the ability!

The list of environmental ambient sound effects are quite comprehensive and I especially love the fantasy music scores, all of which can be mixed with the volume controls to dictate how much you can hear at one time.

The In-app dice roller is a nice touch though nothing compares to real dice for me.

Looking forward to the new content when it arrives. I would really appreciate more sound effects as a majority of them are different laughs.

All in all this app is amazing and I'm so happy to have found it, my d&d group thanks you :D

  • Won't Load

I've tried numerous times to open this app and it always quits after it has "rendering something" or "creating world".
I've closed all background apps, reinstalled app, even prayed to the app goddess but nothing helps. Only time I've gotten app to work was by rebooting iPod and even then it would only work provided no other apps were opened first, including itself.

When it does work, it's freaking amazing.

  • The stars say it all

    Enough said
  • OMG. Good

I like this app right away. It's what you want if you understand the concept of in game sound track.

This app is worth the cost as is. But if we get more content then we are in for a treat.
  • Quite good!

Though I believe it need more sounds (more coming soon) I will be using this during my DMing!
  • Impressed

Actually does what it says on the tin. Easy to use and very smooth transitions from one environment or intensity to another. Better than I was expecting to be honest!
  • Only one reason I didnt give it a 5 star review...

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review is you can't add in your own sounds to suppliment the existing sounds. Otherwise the program is pretty much perfect. It would be nice if the app would also run in the background like pandora or the ipad music player.

Being able to mix ambient and music together is great. The program is easy to use and has a decent collection of sounds. The only thing that would make it better is more sounds.
