Decent app with mediocre connection
App is great, apart from the fact that the WiFi connection to the PFD app is flaky at best, and frequently cuts out on me. The only resolution I’ve found is to restart both iPads and then reconnect, which is a hassle since it usually happens mid-flight.Numegil
Great Sim
I passed the G1000 checkride yesterday in a Cessna 172S NAV III, transitioning from steam gauges. The Simionic simulators were an invaluable tool that I highly recommend to anybody wanting to learn the G1000 to fly an actual aircraft. Every single task the CFI wanted to see me perform I was able to do without any hesitation or problem. Thanks to Simionic for an excellent learning tool!Show lessDANMAN999
Not good for simulators
It’s OK if you want to use it as a stand alone device on the iPad. However using the bridge for X-Plane it’s far too unstable. When connected the device resets all the NAV/COM freqs, xponder, pressure, etc.. to its default settings. During a flight it disconnected from the sim for a moment, reconnected then reset everything causing a serious disruption. The device should read the simulator settings and set itself appropriately.

Makes the sim experience much more complete. Working well with MSFS. Still has some things to fix. As near as I can tell flight plan does not carry over from MSFS and vice versa. I hope they fix that. Looks great on the iPad Pro 12.9 particularly when you add the virtual bezel.Geekstrap
Does not sync
I have followed all the steps and everything says it is connected but the PFD never syncs with FSX. Very disappointingSombrehawk

I have been trying for some time to get this to connect to xplane. It connects, disconnects, over and over. I am the only one home so there is no heavy usage on the network. The router is literally 20 feet from my computer???PbAviator
